Great one! I saw him speak at a pewee football banquet back in the early 70s. A mountain of a man and very kind too.You might want to take a look at Jethro Pugh's numbers.

Really? Now you're just being a troll.
Good one!Really bummed I didn't see this thread earlier and post "Jerry's Liver".
Yes. That is the topic. I understand that very well. In your myopic effort to obfuscate you afte completely missing my point on the topic of the thread.Check the point of the thread - durability. In your sad attempts to criticize, you try to twist and turn it in any other direction. It's noticeable.
You're hardly in position to lecture anyone else when you clearly can't even read the thread topic.
I'll spoon-feed you again - durable.

14 seasons, 10 of them a starter. Best I can tell he missed one start.
The lengths some of you will go to prove your lack of comprehension skills is remarkable. If Dak is the topic of which I agree then what the hell...... this your twin bring @Vtwin "Philly".....
Hey dummy did you forget what you posted
So, since we've established YOU brought "Philly" into the discussion we can ALL deduce that "YOU" did not have a counter argument to durability and availability being trophy worthy.
You tried to slide the "both ways" card using "Philly"....When I put Wentz name to your diatribe you realized your counter point or argument was garbage...because Nick Foles held the trophy because the Non-combatants...yep non available and non durable durable had on sweats...like I said Wentz looked nice
Go play lost in a 5 page thread with another feeble minded Dak Hater...

One last time; cut up into small pieces to help you get it down.....Durability alone is like having a top quality cut of beef but no grill to cook it on. It's an awesome steak but it's not going to satisfy the hunger without the other things necessary to make it ready too eat.
Hopefully you can get that down. If not maybe I'll get the blender out for you.
Sorry bruh. Didn't realize I was dealing with someone incapable of understanding anything more complex than Dak durable/Dak not durable. If you want to discuss another topic, feel free to start a thread of your own.
It's pretty ridiculous when you'll qualify things in other people's posts but ramble all over the place off topic in your own.
I think there's a word for that...
Sorry bruh. Didn't realize I was dealing with someone incapable of understanding anything more complex than Dak durable/Dak not durable.
I think you're taking the cliche, keep it simple stupid way to far.
No worries though. We can still get you a trophy for just being here.
If you believe that than even I underestimated your absolute need to... K I S SWho's "we"? You're on an island here, alone, in case you didn't also notice that.
I'll add it to the long list.
Weren’t Bill Bates and Moose pretty durable??Durability is one of THE MOST underrated abilities an NFL player can possess. There are plenty of former Cowboys who never met their potential because they were not able to stay on the field. Former Cowboys CB Mo Claiborne is a good example of a guy who just couldn’t stay on the field. In his 5 years here, he only played in 43 of 80 games.
Below are some of the most durable players in Cowboys history overall, and some that are recent.
Some of the All time Most Consecutive Starts by Cowboys Players-
Most Consecutive Starts by Cowboys QBs All Time
- 245 - Jason Witten
- 234 - LP Ladaceur
- 203 - Ed “Too Tall” Jones
- 196 - Bob Lily- (Started EVERY game he was eligible to play in! Never missed a start)
- 139 - Emmitt Smith (remarkable for a RB)
- 134 - DD Lewis- Underrated LB from the 70s
- 120 - Randy White
Recent Cowboys Players with Long Durability Streaks
- 64 - Dak Prescott (So far, never missed a start)
- 47 - Tony Romo (Durable until his last 4 seasons)
- 43 - Roger Staubach (Actually had two separate long streaks- 43 and 41games)
- 34 - Troy Aikman
The reason durability is so important is it means you can count on that guy being there, game in game out.
- Travis Frederick- 80 games
- Byron Jones- 80
- Brandon Carr- 80 (Has 196 straight games total- Has never missed a game)
- Zack Martin- 64
- Dak Prescott- 64
The most remarkable record of durability besides Witten is Bob Lily- He started every game in his 15 year NFL career, never missing a single game.
I may have missed a guy here and there. So feel free to add any that I missed.

Pay attention here. The Philly game was brought up by me as an example of durable Dak not being so durable which lead to a frustrating loss in a must win game.
Well, I've been trying tooNow explain to everyone two things.
It is irrelevant because Dak played and finished the game injured................durable Professions usual are availableFirst, how is referencing a specific situation in which Dak was not durable irrelevant to the discussion?
Second, how was your reference to Wentz relevant to the topic of Dak's durability?
Bruh your money has zero durability and availability on this threadMy money is on this either getting ignored or some nonsensical sidestep takes place.
Your move.
I cant look at it, that site causes my browser to just freeze up !Prescott's stats refute that.
And his numbers since he entered the league are in fact better than Aaron Rodgers' and Tom Brady's.
Take a look at this statistical comparison of the three players since Dak entered the league in 2016:
https://www.pro-football-reference....r_3=2019&player_id3=RodgAa00&idx=pfr__players
And make note that Brady has been in the league 20 years, Rodgers for 15 years, and Dak for just 4 years.
These are some 'inconvenient truths' that those attempting to minimize Prescott do not want to read.
I saw the great Bob Lily going through security at a Cowboys game in Dec 2018 against Tampa Bay at the Deathstar. He was so unassuming, I didn’t see a single person even acknowledge him or even recognize him. He was going through security like any other fan. I would have said something to him, but he was several people ahead. 100% class.Bob Lilly would always stay late to sign autographs in his books. He stayed late an hour and a half to sign mine! A true gentleman!

Dont know what they have going on but happens every time.
And numbers are useful, but if your pro dak, you will look for and find stats to support dak, and anti dak people will find stats
to make him look bad lol. Stats dont tell the actual or whole story.
I dont like brady because he has good stats, I dont ever look at his stats, I just see him play, and how smart he is in games , just watching him play
forms my opinion of him.
Same for Dak, my opinion of him is mostly from just watching him play and I have seen every game.
And you never know when a game starts. will it be good dak or bad dak, he is just that inconsistent.
And I dont see where he is all that smart during a game, off field he is pretty smart, but during games he seems to lack
what brady and rodgers seem to have. I see that smartness in mahomes too.
