With how fast news can spread through social media, journalists and reporters have an even bigger responsibility to make sure that the stories they are reporting on are accurate before putting it out. I think that Chris Simms was more worried about getting clicks and views from the Anti-Dak crowd than being accurate in his reporting. Dak always receives enough criticism and negativity without false and untruthful reports adding to the hate that he gets.

No matter what fans opinions on Dak as a QB are, I can't stand reporters who rather be first to report on a story than to be accurate.

The Cowboys love to negotiate in the public see: DLaw, Dez, Zeke and so far Dak. So I think the denial from both sides is accurate.

Let's forget these twitter reports and deal with reality.

1. After 4 years we are no closer to Superbowl.
2. Both Goff and Wentz made a Superbowl run.
3. Big Mike took 2 weeks to call Dak.
4. Big Mike called Dalton upon his release and he signed for kicker money??? Yes this leaves a lot of room to ponder why?
5. Jerry pays and pays big but in Prescott's case nada so far even though everyone under the sun from Coop to Zeke has been paid.
6. At this point a mega-deal is for the Dak dreamers here in the CZ as all indications show the Tag will be his best-case scenario if it's not rescinded.
7. Since 2017 its been all downhill with the cherry on the cake is the last game in Philly where Dak verified he just doesn't have what it takes to start in the NFL.
8. Be ready for a Dalton move during the season to start or come in like Romo did when Bledsoe was our starter.

I leave you with this....how much more disrespect do they have to show Dak for some of you here to comprehend he is not considered anymore the future for us at QB.
Sell crazy as its a free country but so far Jerry and Sons isn't listening....

Well if you look at Zeke deal it’s really not what it appears
Maybe Dak wants a real deal because what Zeke got puts him back on the market at the worst time for a RB

So, I look at life this way: If Dak knows he's going to eventually close the deal by the July date and the Cowboys FO know they're going to close the deal by said date, CLOSE THE STUPID DEAL NOW! Dak needs to be spending as much time as possible with the new coaches, FA's and rookies. This has really started to turn a lot of people off, even this die-hard fan. Message to both sides: Get your poopoo together and finalize this deal!
