Cowherd, Emmitt, King all are saying

"experts" are now chiming in on where Dak ranks as a deep thrower.

Listen to this..Dak part starts at 4:47.

I think the problem with what Cowherd is saying is that Dak isn't deserving of Russell Wilson money because he isn't as good as Russell Wilson. While Dak may not be as good as Russell Wilson all though he has beaten a Russell Wilson led team quite recently, the market has changed since Russell has gotten paid. Also most people can see that Dak has more good qualities than that of Kirk Cousins so that puts Dak somewhere in between. Dak has also been dealing with a coach fighting for his job on the way out and still put up some his best numbers. I can't put much stock in last year period but I can put stock in what Dak has shown in big moments and against good times many times in his career. Dak has balled out plenty of times in big games he didn't all of the sudden lose his abilities.

Again, the market has changed, and look at what first round picks get paid coming into the league these days and those guys might be total bust. Dak is simply a square peg getting jammed in a round hole. His situation is very unique, but it's my belief that many teams would be lining up to sign him for what he is asking or close. Guys like Cowherd get good ratings when they talk about the Cowboys and it's good entertainment to cause controversy. Despite whatever these guys say, Dak has proven he deserves to be paid top dollar at his position based on the intangibles that he is shown and that will play itself out whether you like it or not.

Cowherd is a moron and always has been. I am not saying there are no question m arks about Dak but saying he beat up on the Giants and Commanders is just not a fair assessment. He went 13-3 in his rookie season. Again, I am not anointing him as Parcells will say, but look at last year. He sucked against the Eagles game 2. I admit that. But he thew for a lot of yards against teams like the Packers and Vikings. Its not his fault the defense was atrocious.

I turn Cowherd off when he comes on the radio. This story just convinces me I am not missing anything.

hmmm..

well early on Carr was the measuring stick for Daks deal.

Then Russel Wilson,

then the Rams QB Goff..

pick anybody.

It is always going to change as the cap goes up and a team thinks it has to roll the dice and buy a guy.

Dak is being financially correct to want fail safes against other contracts but the way it usually works is it all gets front load not backloaded. The contracts level off for a couple of years then slowly increase to move towards a redo deal.

Not Dak..it starts high, stays high and then gets higher.

If Jerrah does this deal, he is going to lose his chair at the Owner's Meeting next year. He will be sitting by himself. Nobody will play with him.

Watch it Jerrah.

Emmitt said Dak can win a SB so I'm not sure how you got "no mas" out of that. As for these stats against bad teams, is Dak the only QB who gets to play bad teams?

I'll say it again, I would've transitioned Dak and let the market truly set the price. I'm not crazy about the number$ I'm hearing, but some of these arguments against Dak are pretty weak attempts.
