they have the best potential. not the best talent.....

although we got McCoy and Poe, they are older, haven't played well. so we are just imagining they are going to be the McCoy and Poe of a few years ago. HaHa is what he is, on a one year deal, bouncing around, but he was a name everyone remembers from the draft as many here wanted him..... the WR group and the OL is good, the QB is good, but not like Aikman ofcourse...we lack TE, we lack RDE, where Haley, a HOFer was a terror, we just don't know about the CBs yet and everyone bashes Awzie...so potential is there, but talent is based on results proven on the field. perhaps, next year this time we will have a different conversaiont.

with that said, its exciting to have potential talent like this.....

Yea, I think the 2014 team slightly edges out ahead of the 2016 team, due to the experience of Romo vs Dak, but I think that team is more rounded than 2014. I think on paper, this team could be better than 2014, but I'll say it again, that 2007 team was damn good. I know everyone has a bad taste because they didn't win a playoff game, but they literally lost to the super bowl champions. On top of that, we were closer to winning that game as opposed to 2014 against GB. Against GB, we were down by 5, so even *if* they counted that catch as a TD or we scored the next play, there was still 4 minutes left. To assume Rogers wasn't going to get at least a FG with 4 minutes, is just a big assumption. Against the Giants in 07' if Romo is able to hit Crayton in the endzone from the Giants' 23 yard line with 16 seconds...it's over.

Agree on all accounts. I'd probably rank them the same way. The 2016 team was a monster when we held a lead. The other squads were better equipped to handle a dogfight IMO.

And as someone said earlier, the 2008 team was probably the most talented, but between Romo's injury and TO not being able to last anywhere for more than a few seasons, it was just too much to overcome.

I’m more optimistic this year than I’ve been in a long time but JJ spews this every year. The proof is in the pudding. I’m not ready to award this team anything until we see the product on the field.

Realize one thing.. every time we won 12 games in a season with Garrett, we ran the around 400 times. Coincidence? I think not.

Run the ball, stop the run is championship football, IMO.

16 and 14 maybe. But not '07. '07 is still the best overall roster talent since 95.

We went through this last year. It simply does not.

The 07 team smokes this team talent wise. Tyron, Zeke and Martin are really the only spots with more talent than the 07 team.

The 09 team was excellent also.

For sure the best teams put out have been 2016 til now. Maybe like 4 years before that were talented. 07 08 14. Dallas hasn't been able to build a legit rounded team since the 90s until about 2017.
