If the Cowboys were to acquire Adams, there is basically no way we should not be in the Super Bowl with all this talent.
It would be an absolute shame with the talent we have acquired on the offensive line, the running back position and the wide receiver position for us to not advance to the Super Bowl. Then if we acquire Adams, it would be an absolute failure not to play in the ultimate game.

Or, a first next year and a third in 2022. Who knows what it will take. The trick is to figure out how to afford his salary.

No real trick at all. Restructure one deal and get Dak signed frees up the money for this year. Frederick retiring frees up the money for Adams moving forward. It would just be replacing a 29 year old All Pro with a 24 year old All Pro at a different position for relatively the same money.

Remember the Dream Team the Eagles had not too long ago? How did that work out?

I would say it to his face and he plays basketball not football. Anybody thinking it's the same either has never played both sports or needs to step back and look at themselves. Being top 10 in the NBA has absolutely 0 to do with the ability to play in the NFL.

You clearly love lebron because you are calling him king and trying to debate that he could be a great NFL player.
Who were those Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates and Jimmy Graham dudes again?

Unless things have changed, Fredricks money will not get it done. I think the Cowboys get a little under a mil savings against this years cap on Fredericks deal. See, his signing bonus was already paid to him. That means that because of his early retirement, it seriously hinders the cap hit for this year. All of his signing bonus, still left, accelerates into this years cap. So while there might be savings against his base salary in future cap years, it really hurts this years cap situation.

That's also why all of these suggestions on the Dak contract talking about incentives to turn a 5 year into a 4 year deal are really bad ideas. Basically, the same thing would happen in a situation where a year is removed from an existing contract. Essentially, it make the team account for the additional cap that might be needed in year 4 so it provides no real relief. Helps nothing.
