Were did all this love for Lamar Jackson come from? He is currently the best athlete in football. Similar to Cam during his Super Bowl run. Jackson cannot throw the football. The Ravens run an old school college offense. Cowherd’s love for Wince and “I see ghosts” baffles me.
It's crazy. QB's like Jackson generally lead to a mediocre team. Vick was 7-9 and 8-8 his last two years in ATL.

Jackson is only effective because of his speed. No one wants to say it, but he's simply Kapernick part deux. He'll have some moments and will wow you at times, but he's just not a complete QB, and that will always sabotage him in the end.

Dak Prescott is a lot like Craig Morton. Morton was good on paper but not good enough to win it all.
Morton had a much much better arm, he was finally able to show what kind of qb he could be in his Denver years.

Totally ridiculous list, and ridiculous way of determining who is better.

Jimmy G - Not even close
Jared Goff - Not close
Wentz - No , injury prone, not a leader of men
Russell Wilson - Yes, but it's very close... he is a winner and a leader
Lamar Jackson - System QB, IMO gimmicky and defenses will figure him out
Sam Darnold - No way
Kirk Cousins -Nope
Josh Allen - No
Patrick Mahomes - of Course
Matt Ryan- not a winner
Matthew Stafford- no

QB’s he selected DAK over:
Derek Carr - lol
Baker Mayfield - no chance
Ryan Tannehill - just Stop
Teddy Bridgewater (he said this one was narrow) - nope
Andy Dalton- I'll take him as a backup

Lamar Jackson could run backward and still be faster than Kaepernick. Just kidding...sort of.
Their speed in their prime (4.36 vs 4.56) are/were not remotely comparable.
Just an entirely different level when you are the fastest on the field all the time vs being slower than almost anyone in the secondary and about the same speed as a linebacker or DE

I'm guessing most (but probably not all) of GMs would rate Jackson ahead of Prescott.
Not saying they are right or wrong, but this isn't some crazy opinion

I love the kid but he got exposed the last two playoffs. You hit him a few times and ruff him up, Lamar becomes a below average quarterback. Trick is you got to treat him like a running back at all times.

You are the reason Cowherd makes $10 million a year, essentially by doing no real work and just being a gossip columnist for grown men.

He's essentially an "influencer". Good job guys.

Same goes for SAS and so many others.
It's just an opinion. Entertainment.

Oprah became a billionaire giving opinions, making book lists, and doing interviews.

If you don’t wanna watch the video, here are the QB’s he picked over Dak when given the choices:

Jimmy G
Jared Goff
Wentz
Russell Wilson
Lamar Jackson
Sam Darnold
Kirk Cousins
Josh Allen
Patrick Mahomes
Matt Ryan
Matthew Stafford

QB’s he selected DAK over:
Derek Carr
Baker Mayfield
Ryan Tannehill
Teddy Bridgewater (he said this one was narrow)
Andy Dalton

According to Colin, Dak is not in the top 10. Thoughts?

*Edit: as long as it’s not Monday night, he’d take Kirk over Dak. If it’s Monday Night, I guess Dak takes the cake.

The ever evolving "Click Bait Cowherd"

2 seasons prior (2018)Colin professed that Dak Prescott was at best a TE coming out of Mississippi State.. At least Bill Bolian thought Lamar could be a hybrid WO/QB but Colin Cowherd saw Dak's collegiate career and projected NFL TE (at best 5-7 RD)

Now I am supposed to give credence to his argument that Dak a $29M QB lol Hater!!

I've always thought the majority of the running QBs don't hold up long term.

I think people underestimate how much Dak is respected around the league. There is reason he was given the exclusive tag destination. By most ratings he was the number 1 free agent. Let’s be real about Lamar, for the Cowboys offense Dak is the better quarterback. Cooper, Gallup and CeeDee would not be as effective if Lamar was throwing them the football. Same reason why I would not want Cam here.

In no particular order within tiers.

Tier One:
Brees
Ben R
Brady
Mahomes
Wilson
Rodgers
Watson

Tier Two:
Goff
Wentz
Dak
Jimmy G
Stafford
Tannehill
Rivers

Tier Three:
Mayfield
Murray
Bridgewater
Dalton
Josh Allen
Winston
Foles
Minshew
Darnold

Tier Four:
Kyle Allen
Trubisky
Lock
Taylor
Haskins
Jones

Insufficient Data:
Tua
Burrow
Stidham
Herbert
Brady, Ben, Rodgers and Brees aren't in tier 1 anymore.

Not only that but if you have Watson in tier 1 then Dak is tier 1 as well. Otherwise Watson is in tier 2 with Dak.

Disagree.
Clarify.
Do you disagree that Jackson isn't much fast than Kaepernick?
Or that being faster than everybody vs mostly only the d lineman doesn't make a difference?
