I don't like Cousins at all because he throws too many picks in the endzone. I don't watch him that often so for me to notice...….

I'm not sure if he's improved in this area or not. So it's hard for me to judge him further. I just remember back in 2016 when the Commanders had the game all but wrapped up he throws yet another pick in the endzone to Barry Church. If they get a chip shot FG there I don't think the Cowboys have the time to come back.

One RedZone pick in 2019 and only 6 picks total all season
He played well

Jared Goff- no way Goff beat him in playoffs
Wentz- nope Wentz beat him one game elimination last year
Russell Wilson, yes
Lamar Jackson, nope, not if we want to pass down the field a lot
Sam Darnold- have to joking The joker beat him last year
Kirk Cousins- have to be joking, will NEVER win anything Another Joker that beat him
Josh Allen- this is not serious He seriously beat him last year
Patrick Mahomes- duh
Matt Ryan- good QB, will never win anything
Matthew Stafford- decent QB, will never win anything

Another ridiculous way to determine better QBs.
Head to Head?
At what time were any of the compared QBs on the field competing against each other?

You can have opinions, but I've never understood QB head to head as anything meaningful.

Dak couldn't move the ball against Philly, NE, Buff, NYJ, Chicago, Saints. Couldn't move the ball till they let him rack up in garbage time meaningless stats. Is that easier for u2 understand?

Sam Darnold?
:lmao2::lmao2:
Yeah, I realize he had one the worst WR groups and possibly the very worst offensive line, but that still seemed like a stretch.
It's so hard to measure when you play behind garbage like he does.
Dak has never had to really experience that--not even close.
But I'd give the nod to Dak anyway.

Jimmy G- no way I’m taking him over Dak

so some of those guys he picked are probably better pure throwers than Dak. Dak isn’t a great pure thrower. But he is a leader, a scrapper, and a great runner, and a good enough thrower. I feel like the options to pick up a key first down late in a game with Dak are much wider than most. Stafford, Cousins, Goff, Jimmy G., Ryan....if the coverage is great they are throwing it away, punt. Or in Cousins case, an INT. Dak can get a lot with his legs and/or buy time to lengthen the play and enable WRs to get open.
Feel like in these debates this gets forgotten. It’s oftentimes a game changer, despite folks (ironically) putting Lamar Jackson over Dak. Dak isn’t the best QB in the league but he’s in the upper third and he’s plenty good enough to win with. I have a difficult time believing people would take a lot of those guys above over Dak in a hard fought, must win game if they really had to make that choice.
Colin brought up the fact recently that Dak has 30 TD passes , but none of them was in game winning drives. He also stated that Dak did not win the first game where Dallas was trailing at halftime. If you subtract wins over the rebuilding teams like the Giants and Commanders , where Dak really looked good, he has not performed well against teams with winning records. Colin’s brought out some great points , but the Dak supporters will never see that Colin has exposed a Dak’s weaknesses.

head to head is relevant because in our case it means Daks job shouldn't be sacred. Dalton should very much get an equal chance to compete and start and Dallas should strongly consider a 1st round QB in any of the upcoming drafts. There are many QBs that are on Daks level or better. Draft a young guy, he'll be a cheap replacement and we have to chance to draft an all-star, what's not to like?

Dak had his chance, now it's time for someone else. Keep it moving.

Wasnt Cowherd a Dak guy at one point? Possibly at two points

He still talks about his positives. He is not saying anything different than what about half this board is saying....” I like him, but not at that price”

Hey, right now, I would take Dak too, but few if any QBs in the league have the raw skills that Allen has.
Much bigger, slightly faster, WAY better arm....just more talented. If you want to say Dak is more accurate, that's fine. So is Kellen Moore.
Dak also has a way better offense around him.
I watch Allen and don't see what you're seeing.

You realize Brady would have specifically wanted to come here right? Which there have been no accounts was ever an option. And then we’d have to draft our future qb between 28-32 one of those years if he has the success you envision.
I have a poster on my wall I look up too, it's a tashcan

I agree with everything you wrote. Thanks for saving me the time. What is the fascination with Jimmy G?
