Judging by past history with Zeke, Dak is going to be able to have training camp off, and then the week the season starts sign the biggest QB contract ever.

So he will get an extra month off and won’t even have to practice before playing.
And it will take him half the season to get into game shape.

why do we NEED a solation the FT covers both partys and if Dak doesnt do something dumb like leave 31mil on the table and holdout like Bell and find out the cap goes down and less money next year possibly , then we have Dak under MM and KM new system with more weapons' then ever, If Dak doesnt have his best season ever and I mean in wins, playoffs, and a NFCCG appearance, he may be on the trade block using TT, or NEFT this time around..

everyone's making this difficult, hes our property this season and if he wants to get paid, he will play..I think the DC FO should not budge on the 15th, let the deal stand and lets see how Dak plays this season without the Garett and Linehan excuses before we invest what hes demanding....

IDC either way I will be happy to have a regular season of football as a distraction to this mess in 2020 so far..

The solution is July 15th when Dak will sign. But keep these threads going. It’s how I get my laughs everyday.

Let him test the market. I mean, nobody thinks Dak is as good as the Cowboys think.

The front office needs to take the upper hand.

1) Reduce the offer on the table.

2) place a deadline of one week on said offer or it goes down again.

3) Follow through with same thing next week.

Continue until contract signed.
Why do you think such a tactic would be effective?

Good luck with that and see how that works out with future contracts
He’s on a tag so why would he take less than the tag?

Another thread started by a couch GM.. The contract will get done, there is no hurry at this point, The Jone's have already said Dak is the future of our franchise. At this point it's just posturing no different than what you saw with Zeke and every other star player. Bottom line, the deal will get done in due time, but I guess some people have fun losing sleep over it and projecting their no fail plans over the Stephen and Jerry.:muttley:
