13-3 was his only good season. Without Zeke for 6 weeks went 9-7 which should have been 8-8 had the Eagles not given us the win. But hey, Dak slobberers like stats, so 9-7 it is. The prior to the Cooper signing Dak and the Cowboys looked like crap. Dak looked like a straight up bust on a 4-12 or 6-10 team. Then the Cowboys went 8-8 and missed the playoffs. But hey, Dak threw for a lot of yards against garbage defenses. Got stuffed by good teams. So yeah, I can see why the guy said 8-8.
All i did was correct his 8-8 seasons....like Dak has had nothing but 8-8 seasons since he started. I didn't quote stats or garbage yards/defenses. I don't consider myself a Dak slobberer but I do root for my Cowboys 100%, win lose or draw. I am not particularly happy about the lose or draw portion but I don't bash the qb every chance I get. I guess I am just a Cowboy sloberer. (is that even a word?)

People are impatient. Dak doesn’t need to sign before July 15th. If he holds out past then, I’ll join Skip.
Doubt he will
There is nothing to be gained at that point
He’s gonna get paid very well and still be a FA the next season when QB prices soar

Dalton is good enough to perform at least on the same level or higher than Dak. Insurance for a Dak holdout might be the real reason Dalton was signed. What else could it be? Having a capable backup on the roster hasn't been a priority for how many years until now?
He never has in his career but I guess at 32 he’s gonna have a breakout season

I believe all of those with the exception of Tannehill were extensions that prorated over the final years of the previous contract. So Dak’s 4-year demand is a very different beast.
Because their teams didn’t wait till they became a free agent
It is a different situation because we waited

The same can be said about Zack Martin and Tyron Smith, we should clearly cut them by your estimation as by your metric they are not worth their contract. Same with Amari and Elliot. LVE has only had 2 bad seasons so he is a bum. No wonder they drafted Gallop's replacement he must also not be worth an extension.

So how quickly this logic fall apart. Wins are a TEAM stat, not an individual stat.

wilson has won a SB and been to 2, Rogers has a SB and was in the NFC championship game last year, Wentz was having a potential MVP season their SB year before he got hurt, Goff won a SB, and Tannehill was just in the AFC Championship game. Dak ? He’s a great guy and great athlete who can’t hit receivers in stride consistently.

What SB, did Goff win?

I have been a cowboy fan for ever and I am so so sick and tired of DAK thinking he deserves so much money like he is Tom Brady or better first he says he wants 35 million the cowboys say they will give him that so he is saying he wants 45 million he has not missed any games since becoming a starter but he is definitely not worth more the any other QB in the league!!!!

Your post is full of hyperbole, rumors and lies.

Nice reach, but still a few inches short.

It is a game of inches, right? I'm just not sure where I was reaching? Dallas did go 13-3 in 2016. In 2017 Dallas did go 9-7 because the Eagles gave us the game at the end. They would have stomped us. This isn't remotely a reach. The game wouldn't have been close, just like our first meeting. That's the first two out of the way.

In 2018 the Cowboys looked like hot garbage before signing Cooper. I may be reaching with 4-12 or 6-10, but do you really think the Cowboys go 10-6 without that signing? Best case scenario is 8-8 as usual.

I didn't reach at all with the 2019 season. The Cowboys beat up on crap teams and took advantage of garbage time losses. Crapped the bed against good teams. No reach, just a fact. The only reach is when people throw up stats without context. Which most Dak supporters do because they have no other choice.

Last season, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys were 1-6 against playoff teams and 7-2 against non-playoff teams.

Dak threw for an even 8 TD-8 Int in their games against playoff teams, and 22 TD-3 Int against non-playoff team

He's easily able to beat up on the poor teams; a 22:3 TD to interception ratio is excellent no matter the competition, but in high pressure situations, he hasn't been able to prove that he's the man for the job.

how many other QBs that got paid on 4 year deals are Brady?

Wilson - 4 yrs - $140M, $107M gtd
Rodgers - 4 yrs - $135M, 98.7M gtd
Wentz - 4 yrs - $128M, 107.9 gtd
Goff - 4yrs - $134M, 110 gtd
Tannehill - 4yrs - $118M, $91M gtd

He wants a 4 year deal. give it to him
Wouldn't matter if he took a five-year deal anyway just like Joe Theismann said he probably wouldn't see the last year of his deal

Now, breakdown his other three years. You weren't quoting any stats, pertaining to those years.

If they don't get a deal done by 7/15, Dak has 3 options. Sign the tag, sit out the season, or sit out a portion of the season. If July 15th comes and goes with no deal, I would love to hear the team publicly state that if he holds out even one game, Dalton will be named the starter for the entire year.

Why? So he can cry again in 4 years?

Just let him walk
