how can anyone not be impressed with what gallup's done to date considering his hc? very possible we might have three 1000 yard receivers this year. throw in the possibility of zeke or pollard out of the backfield as receivers and there has to be a mismatch somewhere on the defensive side of the ball.

Gallup has had to deal with a lot of poorly thrown passes to him.

Dak fan, but MG's Rookie season #4 missed #13 for no less than 4 long, long TD passes.

MG has to work on the drops, but if he fixes that problem we have 3 legit #1 WR's on this team.

Opponents have their work cut out for them covering this trio... I think Lamb is probably better than MG right now without ever taking an NFL snap.

Those were actually Gallups fault. Dak is throwing to a spot and on those throws Gallup was not keeping up his speed once he gained separation and it threw the timing off.

TBH I don't watch many games outside of Cowboys games. I just know Gallup is pretty darn good and would be better if he didn't have as many drops. It's nice to see how he stacks up against the other guys taken ahead of him.

i like Gallup and continue to think he will be an impact solid No.2 WR and far distance better than what we had to endure with TWill as a failure.
But from that 2018 Rookie WR class, there were some that i thought ended being better players than Gallup such as Sutton, Moore, Ridley and Clark.

He can be more effortable and aware with his blocking - dak could have scored easily on that big QB run vs Skins if Gally wasn't just flat footed.
Not always the smoothest looking player, some of his runs and catches can be awkward and he can have his share of drops
but he is tough, he battles well for contested balls even when defenders hanging over him, he can make jump ball catches in end zone, he's aggressive
and he runs "angry" at times....he has a knack for getting deep vertically,, and he's courageous over the middle.

i thought we really struggled and missed Gally when he was out with injury vs Saints ...and Amari had his usual struggles with elite CBs.

Prior to that draft I projected Gallup to have equal or better talent than Calvin Ridley.

My contention was that if Gallup had been able to play 1 more season in college that he would have been a 1st round pick.

My contention on Ridley was that if he had played 1 less year in college that he would have been a 3rd round pick.

Ridley was over a year older than Gallup when they were drafted.

I have not followed all WR from that draft.

I like Gallup alot but he has Amari Cooper getting all the attention of DCs. He is a good compliment to Amari but his numbers would change if he suddenly became our #1 for whatever reason.

Ya Dak missed a few but he has made great strides since his rookie year with deep balls.

Gallup was great value in the third round. Good head on his shoulders too. Very likeable story as well.

That touchdown score of his in the Seattle playoff game was the prettiest pass I've ever seen Dak throw. Dropped it right into the bread basket.

Yes, Washington is good but I think Gallup is the better player. Especially when they got Gallup a round later.
Couldn't agree more,, Gallup has done nothing but improve,, what more could you ask from him.
He is a locker room presence that says... live up to your standards...
Gallup is proving every day to be a franchise player.

Which is strange for him. I'm a CSU grad and followed him. He caught everything in the vicinity and was a Biletnikoff finalist. Hopefully it's just a case of getting used to playing with the big boys. Last year was only his second year.
Had 0 redzone drops his entire college career. Incredible.
