What was the best move by the front office this offseason?

I'd have to say without a doubt it was the letting Jason Garrett go.

Garrett was a mediocre head coach at best.

Sorry if you're reading this Jason Garrett.

Edit: What is the 2nd best move that doesn't relate to head coaching?

I think drafting Cee Dee Lamb was a huge win for the franchise. He is going to be making plays for the Cowboys for a very long time.

Yep. He would’ve been back if he was under contract. So yeah I can’t give them credit for that but I can signing McCarthy and moving on.

Moving on from Garrett.

Our whole draft looked strong to me

As for Lamb, I guess he was too good to pass up but I still had major mixed feelings taking a WR there when our top target on defense was sitting there....a guy the FO dreamed might fall to u (Chaisson).
I get it though. Lamb was the BPA , whether WR was remotely a top need or not.

While I don't see him as a Randy Moss type, I agree. More of a taller better Terry Glenn type.

Jerry hires a quality coach who then hired his coaches, a great draft without any ridiculous gambles, not ignoring DT, the whole analytics team, moving the LBs. you watching a different team? Putting that emphasis on DT when it hasn’t existed for a very long time is huge. Not only bringing in 2 quality FAs, then drafting 1 on top of it. lol It’s been a joke. How often the D have to get run over for anyone to see what was happening here?
