In terms of the dak contract, I view this as a catalyst for Dak haters and that is it. It basically Stokes their fires. Dak is a very good player and will get paid end of story. Haters use it to point fingers but I think he deserves better.

Go figure. Not sure why it matters except that sometimes people get bent out of shape over other people's opinions and feel the need to react on a personal level. We have all been there. I try to catch myself before I do.

Exactly! Maybe we should realize how lucky we've been. Plus, Romo was undrafted and Dak was a 4th rounder. We've found solid starters in both. There are teams that have used first round pick after first round pick trying to find a solid starter.

I've reduced my expectations but not solely because of Dak.

That's not entirely true. It may be true for some, but even some of Dak's staunchest supporters thinks he's asking for too much. He's a very good QB. Does he deserve a record breaking contract at this point? No, but he definitely merits a very good contract.

I sincerely believe Dak is worth around 28 mil/season. And that is not chicken feed, nor is it underpaying. Teams who get stupid and overpay don't necessarily set the market.

It doesn't change anything, Jerry doesn't give a crap what anyone here thinks or says. Stay safe and don't smash your TV when another of Jerry's 'this is s a SB built team" season is in the books.

I think it's time you reassess things if doing what you think is fun gets you benched.
