And you behave like you're still in 7th grade. More power to you, buddy.
How would you know what 7th grade is like? Did you get that far? Did you even finish reading your dictionary.com link?

I mean, you sent the link as if it would corroborate your horrific grammar. I’m just sad for you.
:lmao2:

So...according to you...Troy was WRONG then and you didn't trust him? But NOW that he flip flops to your satisfaction well we must trust him. Mkay. Got it.
Show me where I said I believed Troy was wrong before.

I took Troy’s critique seriously then and I take his latest critique seriously now. Troy has since said he stands corrected on Dak’s accuracy and praised Dak for working his butt off to improve in that regard.

Don’t put words in my mouth just because Troy Aikman made you feel stupid today.

I proudly confess my love for Dak as my favorite player in my signature below and I honestly marvel at how anyone can watch Dak play and not see him as a guy you want leading your team.

I still have questions about him as a franchise quarterback. I've stated that I'd prefer he play a year on the tag to give more time to assess exactly where his ability falls.

To be clear, though, I did not think Carson Wentz or Jared Goff deserved an extension yet, either, but they got them just like Dak will get his deal. This is the way of the NFL and those who don't accept that are simply in denial about how teams look at starting quarterbacks.

The only thing to figure out is exactly what the numbers will be, and Dak's representatives and the Dallas front office will haggle over those until they have to strike a deal.

When Romo got his big pay raise there was never enough money left to build a decent team around him. The o'line was always full of holes and the defense was horrid.

Right...but Romo was already on the team...and 10 YEARS LATER STILL FULL OF HOLES.

Dak waltzes into 4 #1 picks on HIS offense?

But you help to make my point anyway.

Aha.....so you don't believe in hyperbole. I see...but wait till I catch you doing the exact same thing. Which you do all the time. SO why would I bother which such blatant hypocrisy and fake outrage. {shrug} I might try anyway. It's always a good exercise to take on hating, illogical, hypocritical internet bullies.

I guess I was trying to point out that the same thing will happen when Dak gets his pay day. Some important area of the team will suffer. Rinse and repeat.

I don't understand the Dak Hate either.

Romo was too good in 2016 not to start if healthy but now we know other factors like Dak's grip on the lockeroom played a huge part in benching Romo. I wanted Romo to go out on his shield ( he couldn't take a hit). I love Romo. I was indifferent about Dak.

Dak and Cowboys kept winning! Big ******* games. Dak changed my mind. How these Dak Haters can't give him a chance is beyond my reasoning capabilities.

The eye test QB whisperer trope sunk many franchises.

Show me....Dak has production and personal development. Dak Haters have hidden agendas....

Yes, their hidden agendas comes down to trying to find any thing they can to point to that shows Dak isn't a good QB. Think about it for a second, in 2018 the narrative was Dak couldn't throw deep accurately and couldn't throw for over 200 yards. Now that he has shown he can do that, they point to that he can't win big games which has also been proven false. Sure Dak has played poorly in some games, but don't all QB's? Hell, Tom Brady was horrible when new england won their last super bowl, it was all defense and coaching, but none the less the super bowl trophy weighs the same.

It eventually just ends up making them look misguided. The closest we saw to a Dak hater meltdown was last season when Dak started at a historic pace. You could of heard a pin drop from the haters, but just as the cock will crow in the morning, they came out of the woodwork as soon as Dak and the team came back down to earth. The great thing about all of this is eventually the story will play itself out and the stats will tell the story on whether or not Dak has a great career. Once it's all said and done and his numbers are tallied this will tell the story. So far, the win goes to us.

100%, these negotiations are a direct reflection on the fact that Jerry and Stephen didn't sign Dak to an extension when they had a chance. That was a huge blunder that they are now paying for. All of this is just business and those on this forum that are taking Dak's approach personal aren't educated in the process or the Dak prescott situation. The Man has time on his side to get the best deal possible whether it's with us or someone else.

I don't think it was a blunder. Whether they paid then or pay now, it was going to be a huge chunk of change. What they pay today is just going to be the going rate now. I preferred that they waited at least half a year to see if the success Dak was having the second of half of 2018 could be carried through 2019, because the first half of 2018 wasn't very promising for various reasons. There's no telling at what point the Joneses might have approached Dak's representatives with an offer that they refused, either.

Yep...we are saying the same thing...sort of. But people don't see that is the same thing.

Bottom line, the haters want to bring us down into their misery, they think their mighty betty davis eye test and gut feelings are correct while guys like Troy Aikman and many others are off their rockers for supporting Dak. I have to wonder if these haters are old Romosexuals with a cross to bear?
Yes!
Yess!!
