I have seen early 2021 mock drafts with multiple 1st rd safety prospects. It makes more sense to add a quality safety and have 5 years of control at a low rate. Giving up premium draft capital and then immediately making him the highest paid safety would set this franchise back, not forward. Just look at the Rams who acquired Ramsey, they gutted half their team this off-season as they are in major cap trouble. Having no draft picks, forces teams to address via fa where it is most expensive. Hitting on the draft, is the best way to build a team that has cap flexibility.

Jets don't want to trade him, nor is Adams pursuing a nuclear option to get out of there.

Dallas asked last year about the cost and it was stupid high. No need to ask again unless something changes.

I think the Jets are waiting to see if they will be a good team or not. Adams would have been traded if Brady was still with the Pats.

If they struggle at the start again like last year, they will trade him.

I get he is worth a 1st round pick but not for the Cowboys. They have too much money tied up to other players and want to resign their own guys in the future. Asams just cost too much. Keep the picks and draft a safety.

After listening to Gary Myers on the fan this morning I don't even think Dallas is in on adams in any way. That was just myers guessing because Dallas has bad safeties as he said.

he also mentioned that he was told when the jets do decide to shop him over half the league will want him. He mentioned baltimore specifically.
I personally think he is perfect for baltimore and philly.

it might drag on for a while. Myers said adams has not participated in any virtual off season activities and will not report whenever training camp opens unless he has a new deal. Myers said it was the exact situation as Zeke.

I imagine he ends up on another team at some point if we have a season.

I don't care if it drags on just as long as there is no linking it to the Cowboys because they have made it clear, they ain't interested.
