So how many years are these guys going to get the injury excuse? Desean, Jeffrey's and Sproles have been hurt for the past few years.

A lot of these guys were addition by subtraction.

Miles Sanders is better than Jordan Howard. Jeffrey and Algholor are TERRIBLE at this stage of their careers.

Peters is 38 years old.

As for the WR's, I already said the Eagles were lacking in that area, so naming the WR's doesn't have anything to do with what I said.

A for Ertz, the only game he missed was the last game of the season, when the team had the division wrapped up.

As for Johnson and Peters, they weren't out at the same time, so at all times they had at least 3, and often 4 stud O-Linemen on the field.

As for the RB's, they still had the stats, even with Howard missing games.

Excuses

1. the division wasnt “wrapped up”. They were win and in, during that matchup and the game was still close until the 4th

2. Who cares if they werent out at the same time? Wasnt Dak’s excuse for his poor play that Tyron missed games (2017)? Lane Johnson is probably their best OL.

3. “They still had the stats, even with Howard missing games”. Didnt the Cowboys have a solid running game with Alfred Morris during those games Zeke missed?

Like I said, this team goes to ****, when we suffer any type of injuries on the offensive side of the ball. And you all excuse Dak’s play because of it.

Pretty fair comments overall from their fans too lol. It seems from this comment section that they are higher on Dak than I would think. Some even wanted him as their QB. Anyway, interesting analysis.

I read it the other day. What a bunch of bunk. Very obvious this Eagles writer eventually sided with Wince, even though all of the film, stats and results prove Dak is by far the better QB.

Saw an interview with Lamb today where he was asked if any of his teammates on offense have contacted him yet. He said he's heard from Zeke, Cooper and Gallup. Nothing from Prescott.

He's a bad dude. Just a terrible human being. It's a disgrace that he leads this team.

I think Dak has better intangibles like leadership skills. Players want to play for him. Also what some posters have said the best ability is availability and Dak easily beats Wentz and that category. He like both players and wanted Wentz when he came out of college but I’ll take Zeke/ Dak over just Wentz. In fact I’ll take Dak over Wentz just because of his durability alone.

Starting wide receiver, starting tight end, starting center, running back in turmoil. What do you think we’re in a better situation. Then Even our left tackle Smith I believe was not playing. Is that what it is I forgot maybe you are an Eagles fan. That would explain it

I'm not making excuses for the Eagles, you are.

You are, however, right that the last week of the season did matter, but that doesn't change the fact that was the only game Ertz missed all season.

As for not caring that they weren't out at the same time, clearly that matters because it's the difference between a somewhat depleted O-Line and one that is still loaded with top end talent, even with one guy out. Would having both Zach Martin and Tyron Smith out at the same time not be different than having one out for a few games, and the other out for a few games later in the season? Are you really suggesting it's not easier to get by with one stud out at a time than if two were out at the same time?

As for Morris, yes, the team did still have a running game with him while Zeke was out, but (A) Howard isn't Zeke Elliott, and (B) I'm not using Zeke being out to claim the Cowboys had no weapons at that time.

By the way, where did I excuse Dak's play because of people being injured? For that matter, where did I say Eagles injuries had no effect on Wentz last season? I never said the team was just as solid as if those guys never got injured, I merely said it's false to claim Wentz was completely without talent around him.

It’s so funny when people try to use Dak’s supporting cast against him when debating Dak vs Wentz.

Wentz’s supporting cast was so good that they won the Super Bowl without him!


Then to prove that was no fluke... in 2018, they won 4 straight games (including a playoff game) IMMEDIATELY after shutting Wentz down for the season. With his “back injury.”

That's because the red headed Clapper decided he only needed 3 healthy receivers and a hobbled Amari Cooper going into that game. He did the same thing against the Bears when Pollard couldn't play. 1 rb and a fb he thought would be enough to get through a Football game. I swear Garrett just crosses his fingers and prays no one gets hurt when you play a game that thin at critical positions.

Yall argue about everything under the sun when it comes to these two qbs and their situations..

None of yall are competent enough to bring up the fact that Wentz is being coached by a borderline elite nfl coach..while dak has had nothing but incompetent idiots coaching him his entire career..coaching in the NFL equally as important as personnel..
