Unless he wins league MVP this season and next, he is gone after 2021.

Then he can take his act back to his college roots like Gurley did and suit up for the Bengals or Browns.

Enjoy your money 21.

What???

Gurley has been injured. Zeke is as durable and consistent as they come.

He was 4th in the league in rushing last season.

#1 Derrick Henry ... about to get paid
#2 Nick Chubb ... will be paid if he keeps it up. On rookie contract
#3 McCaffrey ... just got paid

2018 rushing champ. Likely is the 2017 rushing champ if he didn’t miss 6 games. (He had 937 and the league leader was 1,327. If he averages 66 yards in those 6 games minimum he wins another rushing title.) 2016 rushing champ.

Yeah, he may not have McCaffreys speed or versatility. But people need to quit acting like they paid Zeke and he doesn’t produce. He is consistently a top 5 back.

He certainly has to be very good, but league MVP is not the standard. A player can be very good and absolutely key to a team and still not be league MVP.

We basically got to see the explosive Zeke one year.

Serious question: Would the current version of Zeke be the 4th overall draft pick? I say not. Probably still a first rounder but not a top 4 guy.
The current version of Zeke wouldn't be the 4th overall draft pick.

Mid 1st to early 2nd? Sure. But definitely not the same player he was when we drafted him that high.

Zeke would look a lot more explosive if he ever had, you know, space.

I think its safe to say that Zeke only looked explosive the first year because of how good the line was. Those holes were so big no one was touching him until the 3rd level.

Zeke gets lost of yards because Zeke gets lots of carries. Simple math. You can either spread those carries out between 3 backs or two and get similar production with probably some bigger plays and more versatility.

And you wouldn't have to pay 15 million for that. You could probably pay less than 5 million per year for that.
