40 mil vs 7 mil are the stats so far apart and the w-l record given Dalton being on this 2020 offense thats loaded with KM and Mm offense?

is Dak worth that much more then a qb that just below him in tier can we win 8 games with 7mil qb vs a 40mil qb?

the question has never been should we sign dak, most want dak as our qb but not with he and his agents inflated ego and overvaluing himself..hats the biggest issue here other site and really nationally.. Dak at 28-30mil we can get on board with dak wanting to be the highest paid player in the nfl and an NFLs record breaking deal , thats the issue..

Do you really think Dak was much better with his 1-2 playoff record? He compiled stats in a blowout by GB in 2016 and then flopped in both games of 2018.

If you watched the games and compared his playoff numbers with Dalton’s he was a lot better! You obviously didn’t watch the games because we didn’t get blown out by Green Bay in 2016. We were getting blown out until he brought us back to tie that game in the closing minutes. Did you forget that? It was our defense that cost us that game. He outplayed Jared Goff in the playoff loss to the Rams but again our defense failed to show up. The playoff win he has was against the highest paid player in the league Russell Wilson.

Totally different teams each player is/was on, so these kinds of posts are irrelevant.

You heard it here first folks, you can't compare players at any position that played on different teams because they had different players around them.

Don't even try it!

You do realize how good Dalton's OL's were throughout his career, right... right?

No how good??? lol not this good. I notice you have nothing to say about the RB. This offense is better.

Here's an article from 2017. Worst line in a decade.

Only three times in the past 12 years have the Bengals been able to generate running back production of at least four yards per carry.

It's really simple. Dalton was brought in for two reasons: 1) to back up Dak. 2) To lower Dak's leverage and just in cause talks fall through and Dak goes nuts and doesn't sign his tender, the team isn't totally screwed...so basically, Dalton is here as a backup. Period.

If Dak gets hurt, we have a viable backup so they don't have to play Dak hurt.

There is no logical discussion revolving around Dak anymore. It's the same old posts, maybe even copied and pasted for all we know for why Dak/Dalton either sucks or is the better option.
Add in speculation that Dak is greedy, doesn't love the Cowboys, or is arrogant to spice up the posts!
It’s really getting frustrating and taking away from real football talk

Because RBs don't matter and ours is wildly overrated. I notice you didn't mention receivers.

2011- 4th best pass blocking line
2013- 3rd best pass blocking line
2014- 5th best pass blocking line

3 of Dalton's first four seasons all came behind top 5 pass blocking OLs.

Dalton has had AJ Green every year of his career outside of last year due to injury, the #2 has been a mix of either Sanu or Marvin Jones, one year he had all three of Green, Sanu, and Jones!!!, not to mention Dalton has also had a 1st round TE every year of his career.

And it seems like you screwed up somewhere. In 2016 the Bengals rushed for 4.0 ypc, in 2014 they rushed for 4.4 and had a top 3 rushing attach, in 2012 they rushed got 4.1 ypc, in 2018 they rushed for 4.7 yards per carry.

Are people honestly defending Dalton as if he's a better QB? Seriously?

Why not use the same excuses against Prescott: "Dalton needs a All Pro team around him."

Anyone wants a refresher, just go watch Dalton in the postseason. Awful. He was, not the entire team.

nah. “Dalton was very similar to Dak their first four years” has been a weirdo rallying cry. Deserves to be shot down, empirically.

Do you really think that Eli Manning was better than Dan Marino?

The Packers game was a one score game at halftime.

The game was tied not once but TWICE in the 4th quarter.

Please enlighten all of us about how the game was a blowout.

You probably mean the game would have been a blowout if it wasn’t for the offense pulling them back into the game.

Btw, Dak had the highest QBR of all QB’s in the 2018 season playoffs. But please tell us again how he was awful in the 2018 season playoffs.
