Yes sir it is a good one. I think you are going to see Coach Mac get these guys the ball in space. Lots of screens and short dumps. One slasher and one anvil.
Can’t wait for the season my cowboy brother. Right now I’m biting my nails LOL waiting for sports

I can call Earl Campbell, Marion Barber and Marshawn Lynch explosive, because they used to blow would be tacklers up. Right? So what does explosive really mean? He was fast? Pollard is fast but can Pollard last?

Chris Johnson ran for over 2,000 yards, but I'd still take Curtis Martin over Johnson. Give me productive and dependable over fast and flashy. Because most of your fast and flashy backs don't seem to last long. Barry Sanders is the lone wolf on fast and flashy durability.

But I would love to see guys like Kamara, McCaffrey, and Pollard have 11 year careers in the NFL.

Zeke gets lost of yards because Zeke gets lots of carries. Simple math. You can either spread those carries out between 3 backs or two and get similar production with probably some bigger plays and more versatility.

And you wouldn't have to pay 15 million for that. You could probably pay less than 5 million per year for that.

The logic behind that is great.

But finding three legit backs isn’t that simple. We have had our share of Dunbars, Randles etc

Unless he wins league MVP this season and next, he is gone after 2021.

Then he can take his act back to his college roots like Gurley did and suit up for the Bengals or Browns.

Enjoy your money 21.
I'm sure he's enjoying it. Wouldn't you?

Zeke is still a powerful guy. More of a chain mover than an explosive back. He can still be explosive but he ate his way off that list.

Skip had it about right. Zeke's explosiveness has steadily declined. You see it on the field. You see it in the stats.

Zeke takes hits. He doesn't bounce off like Emmitt. He doesn't slip by. He pounds through. Few RBs can do that at an elite level for over 3 or 4 years. They grind down.

Pollard had significantly better YPC than Zeke.

Zeke never sniffs his 2016 season again. Still a top back for a few more years.

Yup. Having Zeke is keeping us from having a better safety or defensive end this year.

DLaw had half a sack in the last 8 games. Both signings were mistakes.

Looking like Jaylon was too. I didn't see that one coming. He looked a little off to begin the season, but got *worse* as the year went on. He kept playing, and throwing himself on piles to rack up those assists, but he looked increasingly physically limited. He ain't right.

Wow. 4 or 5 straight sensible posts before the mouth breathers showed up. This place still has hope.

Zeke is certainly nowhere near the top of the most explosive runners in the league. If you cant see that, you should start watching another sport.

Was this top 10 all time or in the NFL now?

If all time, I understand because Emmitt Smith was not explosive. But, as a all around RB, Elliott is on pace to challenge Emmitt and that is saying a hell of a lot because Emmitt Smith by far is the best all around RB in NFL History followed by Sweetness. Run, Block, Catch, and score TDs.

Not in the top ten of current players is asinine and a list that was made up by blind, deaf, brainless zombies.
Do not compare Zeke to Emmitt Smith.

How many times did Emmitt tap out?

Definitely.

Id have little incentive to care much about football.

Hell I could just tap out when I dont feel like playing.

I got paid. Then I'll finish up with the Bengals, and I'll be not much in the story of the history of the league.

And that's all fine. Some dudes are all about getting paid and having a party. I don't want them on my team and I'm counting the minutes until 21 is gone to be very honest, because out of the 22 starters, I'm not sure he cracks the top 20 of guys I dont want to not have in the lineup on a given Sunday.

Says a lot about the man you are if you wouldn't have any incentive. Hopefully 21 is a better man than you.

I like where he places on the rushing list each year. Explosive back list doesn't mean anything.
