Once again...my apologies for missing your personal attack on pappy. And that no other replies to it were welcome. {rolls eyes}
A little hypocritical aren’t you. The hypocrisy of it all. It’s OK for you to throw insults but no one else please. Are you getting off on the wrong foot

What you are missing is the quesion I have been asking over and over.

How do you know cooper rush was not a legitimate backup that could come in make some plays. We've not seen him run any semblance of 1st and 2nd teamers. So HOW DO YOU KNOW?

The answer given is "well...since the coaches didn't put him in...he must not be a legit backup. "

I am not saying he is or isn't. I was never given the chance to see him run anyone but a few preseason scrubs.
You call him running the first team. Scrubs.

Dallas was a three point road underdog in that game and they lost by 2.

By the way, Dak was still in news articles as an MVP Candidate after that game. And Dak didn't make Zeke and Witten fumble.
he did not make them fumble , no was he the coach . but what did he do ? elite QBs find a way . This is precisely why so many fans and analysts question Dak . He disappears when there is a challenge in the running game or with quality defenses.

I've never said Dak was elite. I say he is in the 6 - 12 range but he will end up with top five pay because the timing and his value to the team.

I just disagree that he did nothing against the Saints, that was a lights out game for their defense.

Yet he didn't disappear this season despite 10 of the 16 defenses he faced being top 16 in DVOA.

You should go watch the Saints game again, such a weird game.

Wow....some of you guys...man do you just like to argue and pick fights!

I've said it before...but i guess with YOU...I will have to be painfully slow and obvious. But...I'm am sure you'll STILL find something to fight about.

The players that make MM's roster....will all get my stamp of approval...a free pass and clean slate. It's his team now....we should give him a chance to make the most of ALL these players.

Okay...so come at me yet again.
LMAO. Someone’s got a problem. LOL is there anybody you Haven’t tried to insult today. This is going to get good

Last year was both weird and painful.

Every bit of it necessary to wake the owner up...finally.

do you recall his missed passes against the saints ? particularly an open Cobb in the endzone ? there were others like this and at the finale against the eagles.

Did you watch Mahomes in the Super Bowl. Tell me who had a better game Prescott against the Saints or Mahomes against San Francisco. And forget about who won not the point

agree with you , but he wants 35-40 million a year. The argument is our defense can use that cap space better than put it on a mediocre QB with accuracy issues.

There is no Issue even if we pay Prescott. I don’t know why people don’t understand this. It’s inflated dollars down the road means nothing

1st drive

1st pass- completion outside the numbers to Cooper
2nd pass- completion to Witt in the middle for a 1st
3rd pass- throw away under pressure from 94
4th pass- completion short to Zeke on 3rd and long

2nd drive

Made first down run on 3rd down after failed Zeke run
1st pass- A freaking STRIKE while being bodied from pressure to the right for a 1st down to Witt
2nd pass- tipped incompletion
3rd pass- rolling to left from pressure throws off opposite foot and hits Cobbs finger tips. This is really the pass that stuck out to you? When the score was 0-0?

That's some crazy selective memory right there.

there is obvious inflation , but Andy dalton only cost 3 million , and could be serviceable though . we can spend the balance of 32 million + on some beasts on Defense.

nice recap and memory , but it is splitting hairs on his hits and misses. If he is elite or if he is getting paid 35 mil , these arguments should not be taking place ( Mahomes and wilson and Brady and others Watson don't get such scrutiny as they are the difference in many games )

Andy Dalton is nothing more than a back up make no mistake about that. It’s still has nothing to do with the money sign the kid he’s a winner How many years have you been following this franchise. How often have we going to have to high price free agents whether we’ve had the money or not. It’s not how they do things. P Prescott

When have you ever seen this franchise spent money on high price free agents period. Not going to happen

Man, Dak has no faults! He could literally throw a ball to the ground and you may as well just blame the fans for keeping the air for themselves since it’s not loud enough at AT&T stadium.

@basel90

It was not shown on the broadcast view but Cobb was held on that play which made him late getting over.

Review of 2019 Cowboys losses with regards to QB performance:

Dak's QB score correlates great with win/loss. 6 top games, all W. 6 worst games, all L. But likely the causation goes in both directions. I wish there was a table for QBR per game.
Dak worst games
GB 3 int (only multi int game), CHI, PHI, NO, NWE.
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PresDa01/gamelog/2019/

When Dak ran 5 or more times, we won 4.
When Dak ran 1 or less times, we lost 4. Not running against NE was so dumb.
Dak's Bad Pass% varied a lot, but surprisingly didn't correlate that well with win/loss.
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PresDa01/gamelog/2019/advanced/

Looking at the team Expected Points
ST only had 2 positive games.
Defense was about 55-45 negative.
The offense is the strength of the team. W/L pretty well correlates with offensive Expected Points. Top 6 are wins, bottom 5 are losses.

The offense only had 2 negative games, at Philly and NE. Those were 2 of 3 of Dak's worst rated games too. Last one was NO +1.

Pats, the defense +7, offense -7, st -4.
Philly defense -10, offense -6, st +3

The only game where ST and Defense were net positive and we lost was NE.

It has been 26 years since we reached a super bowl . We need a great Defense to win one . Dak is not helping . But I can see you love him and believe he is so much better than dalton . I don’t agree .
