No, I mean exactly what Dak said with anger back in January that he would hold out, not sign any tag and not show up until a big contract was ready for he to sign.

Smart move by Dak?? if Mahomes sign a 40M year extension, Dak's value is going to go down, If Mahomes sign for more than 40M and Dak keeps asking for more than it's worth, no team is going to be willing to pay him, and his season would be at risk if he does not sign the Tag, and I do not think that any team will be interested in it in the future due to its demands unless its price drops. If Dak does not sign what they are offering him, which is a lot for what he is worth, he would be making a serious mistake that would put his future at risk. IMO

(Nothing you can do about mods deciding to alter your posts whenever they take a notion. It's one of the more unique things about this board compared to any other I've experienced for any pro or college team of any sport. In this case, the new title is not especially relevant to the actual point of the post, nor is the new title seemingly fitting with this particular forum. I dunno. It's frustrating, that's all I can say.)

Again though, there is a zero percent chance he misses any games. It just does not make sense and its also unlikely anything happens after July 15th. Now Dak may hold out from training camp, but he will be there on opening day because otherwise it lowers his leverage due to the franchise tag eventually running out.
