I'm puzzled. That doesn't seem like a credible NFL CB speed.
He is not a blazer, as evidenced by his 4.64-second forty-yard dash time at the 2016 NFL Combine
That's not his game, cant be, or QBs can just burn him all day long.
He wasn't brought in to be that player, but his skill set is in the box, and on jam WRs.
I see his true value, considering his skill set to be on Nickle packages primarily, and depth.

FA is usually just for plugging holes, filling deficiency gaps, and this guy has position flex. Nothing wrong with that, IMO.
Right. Some fans act as if every free agent signee is intended to be a standout player, and that’s a blatantly false viewpoint. Easily most free agents Are signed as role players or to temporarily fill a hole.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Bucky Brooks started lurking here on CZ once he began writing for DC.com. I read his article on nfl.com last week and several of the points he made about Aldon Smith sounded like they were taken verbatim from a thread here on the same topic.

Please. Bucky Brooks has forgotten more football than the folks combined on this board claim to know. Don't fool yourself.

Worley is veteran starting CB that plays an aggressive style the new coaches like, so cheers to getting some decent fill-in snaps for Worley.

Electronic: 4.64
Handheld: 4.52

The NFL starting using electronic timing at the combine in 1999; however, it was a hand start, electronic finish up until a few years ago.

It is now electronic start and electronic finish.

The first year of the transition to electronic start and finish something was screwed up with the system and many times were way off.

I think that year might have been 2016 which is the year that Worley was drafted.

He was drafted in the 3rd by the Panthers. I'm sure they must have believed the ran significantly better than 4.64 considering they drafted him in the 3rd.

I'm looking forward to seeing this defense in live action. The offense played good enough to be 12-4 last year, so I expect the offense to be good again this year. Our season really comes down to how well our defense plays.

True, but the offense can be even better. And the special teams can make a huge difference. We marched up and down the field and stalled in the redzone or missed FG's. Coaching will definitely help that.

These guys like Worley are just here to hold the bag until guys like Diggs are ready or in case they cant handle things.

The truth is that we are seeing the complete rebuild and turnover of the secondary in every way. EVERY guy starting last year will most likely NOT be here after next season. MAYBE one guy?

Thanks!

Where did that handheld come from? A Pro Day?

Depends on what Woods is worth on the open market. There is some versatility with him, he is the kind of DB that can get alot of playing time even if he isnt starting. If no one is willing to pay him starter money, I could see him back in Dallas

Agreed, but I just think he is going to get starter money. Most likely gone as is Awuzie. Jordan Lewis probably cant wait to get out of here as he has been pretty much brushed aside. Ha ha is a stop gap. If he has a good year he will get bigger money.
