Add in Connor Williams and we might get all the picks from that team for the next 5 years.

What's so funny is these guys that say Dak is so terrible and the worst QB ever but yet want to trade him for multiple first round picks and players.
lol only because you guys say his worth is such. Why is this hard to understand?

Gotta love the zone just a notch above the ranch. The ignorance runs rapid. Dallas fans are why other fans hate the cowboys so much. Well that and past success .

some of the trolls are funny some are annoying but all of them equally wrong.

the game day threads ought to be quite amazing when Dak signs
This site is going to be unbearable this season

Every interception:. Put in Dalton!
Every fumble:. Put in Dalton!
Every incompletion: Put in Dalton!
Every throw away: Put in Dalton!
Every time Dak is on the screen:. Put in Dalton!
Every commercial: Put in Dalton!

It's going to be awful

We're not going to get 3 firsts for Dak. We would be lucky to get 2 for him, and I mean really lucky. Would you trade 3 first round picks for Dak, knowing that CAA is going to try and get him a 40 mil 3 to 4 year deal?

nope I wouldn’t, but I would start there with negotiations.., a team desperate for a QB might...
Chicago paid two firsts, a third, and a sixth for a DE....a QB is worth much more if you think he’s a franchise guy.

Dak Prescott trade: 5 NFL teams who should call Cowboys

There are five teams who should inquire Dallas Cowboys to get Dak Prescott. Would the Dallas Cowboys ever consider trading away franchise quarterback Dak P...

First this sportswriter even said the it's unlikely any of his dribble would happen. More fantasy stuff to get clicks in the off season. But before looking at some of this dream time trades, it needs to be pointed out that right now the Cowboys could not trade Prescott even if we were in this fantasy land where these trades could exist. Prescott would have to either sign a long term deal or his tag offer before he could be traded.

Now lets look at a couple of these possible trades. Three of them rely on the teams being able to trade their existing QB's. One of them, the jags would require to use everything they got for Prescott plus maybe some of their own draft picks to move up to the 1st pick and take Trevor Lawrence who hasn't played a single down in the NFL but this sportswriter implies he would be better than Prescott. The list is a mile long of college QB that the "experts" were sure they would be super stars in the NFL but turned out to be busts.

The there is the pats and a convoluted mumbo jumbo on that trade. The 49ers are next and the first that would have to trade Garoppolo for that trade to work. Then the lions who would have to trade Stafford and finally the bills and the funniest one. That one is trading Prescott for a QB not as good AND the bills have already traded away FOUR draft picks for Stefon Diggs leaving them with less to work with.

This is all fantasy dream land stuff and even when the Cowboys could even trade Prescott providing they smoked enough weed to agree to, the chances of any of these happening are about the same as me winning the Powerball jackpot tonight.

We need to let our players be men and smoke cigars on the sidelines again.

Spin much ? They are not saying they think Dak is worth multiple picks. Quite the contrary. They are commenting that the other team that is interested In Dak and values him more than most of us do as a starter would pay normal compensation for a quality, starting QB. Which he is not. But hey, let them find out the hard way. I wish Jerry had used the non exclusive tag on Dak so you guys would face a reality check. Ain’t a team in this league would give 2 first rounders for your boy. Nada.
Lol. Pathetic. "Oooh, no league would give 2 first rounders for your boy...nada."

Are you kidding me? Have you not paid attention the past 4 years to the post-game commentary from team's coaches we have played and defeated? There are lots of teams right now that would jump at the opportunity to get Dak. Why do you think Jerry refused to allow Dak to shop himself around? Jerry knows Dak's value.

Wake up.

You're the one spinning MaineBoy, not Irvin88. You're the one pushing the concept that Dak is worthless but some unnamed team out there is going to offer multiple picks for him.
If he's that bad, NOBODY is going to offer multiple draft picks for him and you know it!

You have a right to your opinion of Dak pro or con, but you can't have it both ways!
Either Dak is good enough to attract a multiple pick trade or he's not. Period.

So let me get this right. The Cowboys had a great draft. Great post draft FA signings (rookies.) And added some talent via Free agency (NFL players.) Including beefing up the DT spots, and hiring a coach who values a push up the middle and stop the run, as opposed to what ever Opie was thinking and clapping to.

The table is set.

Then the idea is to trade Dak for a first and a fourth, then start Dalton, who is speculated by the Emo Analytics set to be as good, or even better than Dak, for a shot at the number 1 pick in next year's draft.

Which sinks McCarthy's first season, and has him training a QB for results several years down the road. It also means the people on defense you signed for a one year run will be gone, and this team is essentially starting a rebuild with a target year of perhaps 2023 for Lawrence to be ready for prime time. And your defense is now worse than it was before you made the trade.

And this is what the Emo Crew want to do because they believe Dak can't win, and Dalton, who is questionably not as good will suffice as you people wait on your franchise QB that has played zero games in the NFL.

All you people whining about Dak will suddenly shate out patience that you don't possess for Dak because of money which doesn't come out of your pocket.

The level of vitriol on this site for Dak, and the thinking behind it, has now become unhinged. You don't value Dak over a 30-something QB who has achieved nothing, yet you believe a franchise will trade away a first plus - and some think that will be two firsts plus, to Dallas for a guy drafted in the fourth that you admittedly believe is not a starting QB in this league.

Do you have any idea just how ridiculous your position is to anyone who values logic? Because the sardine has surely slipped off your Ritz cracker.

Emo Analytics. The parachute bat shate crazy floats in on.

If your quarterback is good enough to get a $35 million/year contract, then he should be good enough to get at least a first-round pick and a second or third rounder in a trade.

If no NFL team is willing to cough up that much for him, then......well, that should tell you something.
