Ware is the one who proved the loser stank wasn't his fault by winning a ring someplace else (and playing a critical role in that game, having basically the same stat line as the MVP.)

1. He was an all-pro, too

2. He played in an era with 4 of the top 10 QBs of all-time (Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers). How many All-pros would Martin and Tyron get if Johnathan Ogden and Larry Allen played in their era?

How many All-Pros would Martin and Tyron have gotten with a bad quarterback?

Tyron is really the only one to play for more than half the decade...so it's definitely him.

Ware only had 3 healthy seasons for the cowboys in the 2010s and last top season for them was 2012. Why would he made a 2010s cowboys all-decade list ?
Agreed. I think there interchangable to be honest (could pick either).

Tyron played more games and played a harder position. Martin though despite playing 3 lesson seasons actually has just as good if not better accolades (Zack has 6 total all-pro team selections vs 4 of Tyrons and both made the all-decade team).

Ware was a prowler in 2010, 2011 and 2012
All pro in 2011
Second team all pro in 2010 and 2012
Sack leader in 2010
NFL's all decade team (retired in 2016)
NFL Butkus Award in 2011

I mean, I understand he only had 4 seasons in Dallas in the last decade but he had a heck of a resume, he should be on the list.
Dak and Zeke are on the list and they only have 4 seasons as well...

Tony Romo played seven seasons in the 2010's and in three of them he missed about 3/4 of the season.

Therefore, he really only played in four of the ten seasons. In three of those seasons the Cowboys went 8-8.

Tony was a Pro Bowl selection only once in the 2010's.

If you were to use the seasons from 2006 to 2015 then by all means, I support him being a very strong candidate, probably the winner, but not 2010 to 2019.

I"m still shocked that Romo is winning this. No way.

Easily Zack Martin for me. Show me another person on that list with 4 first team all pro selections in the 2010s..

1. He had more than one or two great seasons

2. You obviously didnt read/understand my post. He wouldve been all pro year in and out if he didnt play in an era with the greatest of all time. Btw, Tyron hasnt been an all-pro since 2016. Romo has the same amount of all-pros as Roger..

I placed Martin for a reason and not Smith. Still Smith was and is still better at his position then Romo was.

Romo had essemtially one great year. And that because of the greatest supporting cast he ever had in his career. I gave you 2 just because i did not want to argue. Overall Romo was a good QB but should not be compared to great players at their position.

Romo had great competition in his time, but that does not make him better. If he had good competition he would not have made the all pro level anyways.

Last but not least please dont question my intellect. I am far more intelligent then you.

1. Zack Martin
2. Tyron Smith

How someone could vote for Romo idk. Guy was good at his positionbut to compare him to AllPro players is just unfair to him.
I agree.
Martin - 6 X All pro > Smith - 4 X All pro. Romo was All pro one time and that was on the second team.

Zack Martin, Tyron Smith and Jason Witten are the only certain HOFers on that list imo, but Zack has more individual accomplishments. I don’t think it’s up for debate imo.

Tyron Smith is not going to the HOF.

I'd say Ware but he had REALLY empty numbers....VERY FEW big plays and sacks in crunch time of big games. I can't remember even one. My vote goes to Romo….begrudgingly.

Interesting.
...
No one has criticized Sean Lee more than I.
Yet, He is my choice.
Steadfast, loyal, hard hits, good citizen.
He's a paradox. A brittle man yet still standing. Willing to give us 100% on each limited play.
Sounds good to me you workaday beer swilling populace!
When the out-of-work DEZ called Sean "The Snake," I flinched.
From thence, Sean is golden, Dez not so much.

Roadies and contractors, thanks for the cards.

That might be a stretch.

Tyron is one of the most accomplished in the league at his position. If he sticks around 2-4 more years, he's definitely in. Only thing he hasn't done is win a Super Bowl.

since the question is about a decade, I would have to look at years played during that decade and level of play. Based on that, wouldn't it have to be Tyron? Sean would be another strong contender since he was drafted in 2010 and thus has played the entire decade.

if you simply ask who is the most talented person to wear a Cowboy jersey in the decade, that's tough. It would probably be between Tyron, Zach, Romo,Ware & Zeke.

ok people stop telling people how they should vote, funny how democracy works and people are allowed to have their own vote with out criticism..
everyone using the fact that OL were MVPs and better then say Romo or zeke when the last time a OL was an NFL MVP or even a candidate? most of the skill payers who handle the ball a lot and get stats are the only ones up for MVP voting.. we know OL are important and we have had many great ones but most MVPs goes to QBs so its no surprise Romo wins this..

I for one can see why he was, I mean this entire team has had a and excuse from fans that garett wasted a lot of Careers and a lot of us saw Romo as even better then his numbers and stats , he was a legitimate franchise QB that excelled despite poor catching and sometimes talent around him failing more then he did in those big games..if he wasn't in an Era where his best years had to be the years when Pmanning , Brees, and Brady were setting ridiculous records on better teams with better coaching.. those numbers that Manning and Brady put up like 4 straight years where when romo was at his a best and got buried because of it..even Brees lost out on MVP years because of those Brady and Manning's years..

this era of new QBs will get overshadowed by mahomes most season..I dont blame romo for most of our lack of playoffs runs.. I remember every play that lost us those games and bad calls etc .. Romo was an Elite QB IMO, he was natural thrower, great pocket awreness, and did things that were special all from being an UDFA coming from small school..ne of my Fave DC of all time
