If we were having a normal offseason with OTA’s, mini camps and rookie camp my expectations would be a little higher. We’re going to be challenged with a new HC having to implement their system when they can’t even get players on the field. Dak’s contract situation has become somewhat of a distraction. Yes, things look pretty good on paper but they looked pretty good on paper at this time last year. I’m always hopeful but we’ll see. With a new head coach it’s going to take some time. It took Jimmy 3 seasons to get it going in Dallas.

The defense will be better, much better, they got some run stopping DT's and some more secondary guys.
how much better remains to be seen, but just with marinelli gone, and richards, no more bend dont break defense.
It will be better, and different,
Dak will more than likely be the qb.
The nfl will do everything possible for a season to occur, other wise they would lose millions or billions.

no I think it will not take 3 seasons, when jimmy took over he had no team, no stars, MM walked into a loaded team.

I dont know about pride, but we should see a team that isnt sloppy and error prone.

I’m not saying it will take 3 seasons I’m just pointing out that it took 3 seasons with Jimmy. He basically started from scratch by getting rid of players and rebuilding. I just want to see some consistency from season to season. If we have a good season let’s build on it. We haven’t had back to back playoff teams since 06 and 07.

I just want to see the team better prepared to play every game. The Garrett style seemed like his team was only prepared for maybe 4 games a year. Yeah, I would say consistency.

Some of them over and over.

Rewind. Pause. Slow motion. Fast Forw..... damnit! I always hit that button by accident.

My personal prediction has been 11-5 for years because I always believed that we had
the talent to win and just a little bit of coaching would help win some of the close games.
Well, now I believe coaching will put the team over the hump.

The 2020 prediction, complete with drink and rose-colored glasses, is a 12-4 season.
Good enough for the 2 seed. We find our team on a rain-soaked field in the Bay Area,
about to repeat history. Only this time, it doesn't feel like an upset.

Unfortunately, it's not the Buffalo Bill's waiting for the big matchup (or hell, maybe it is).
No, it's the defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. And the storybook season
ends in defeat, like the first Rocky movie.

(just havin' some fun)

exactly !
The team was never sharp consistently with JG. They often got sloppy and had silly errors.
hopefully that will all change.

I have been 10-6 for years lol, so maybe they can be 12-4 this year.
I dont know if the chiefs make it back this year. It is hard for all teams to repeat, and New England will be back this year.
I watched the HL on stidwell who will be the NE qb, and he looks like brady to me, and if BB wanted brady gone, he will
now turn it on and want to prove he can win without brady.
Buffalo and Ravens also will be in the mix.

I think dallas can beat any team in the nfc except maybe SF, so that is the one hurdle for them.

I agree with the teams you mentioned. They should all be there deep in the playoffs.
I pick KC because essentially the whole team is returning 20 of 22 starters, I think.
Plus, they got better in the backfield. Williams was good for them but the kid from
LSU will be Andy Reid's new toy.

I would love to see the Ravens and Chiefs battle in the AFC Championship.
We agree that SF will be the toughest "out" in the NFC for Dallas.

The offense is loaded, new coaches, better looking defense, new ST coach, and last but not least
the great dak prescott !

Finishing with a record of 12-4 would be preferable, to help with home field in playoffs.

Even if dalton starts game 1, I still expect the same things.

Hey earth to you. Goals are something someone can set for themselves, things they have control over and that they can change or improve on. Fans have zero control over any goals any player or the teams has as a whole has. Now you can ask what fans hope the Cowboys do this season or what is the least they can do that won't upset you, but fans can't set goals for any sports team.
