Weird how they didn't mention garbage time at all. Only that they don't care how good their performance was if they didn't ultimately win the game which every athlete from every sport says. Also this also wasn't even from last season which is the season you referred to.

A wise man once said "it's better to STHU, than make stuff up".

Also it's not "for starters" if you have no additional evidence following the post

So "trash time" has a different meaning to you? How about YOU STHU? I don't have to prove a damn thing to you.

You have something to prove to yourself obviously, that's why you're relying on lying.

Being intentionally dishonest when you have nothing to gain from it is worrisome.

Again Dak saying "Trash stats" after a loss from a game in 2018 is what you linked. Your words Dak said "most of his stats last season came in garbage time". Also the game you rreferenced never had garbage time, which adds to how invalid just how badly you were grasping for a link.

If it gets to the point where I am lying just for the hell of it, I promise I will sthu. Until then it's on you.

Yet the article is dated 12-15-2019?

He needs to make a record that way he can just play it over and over again. Says the same thing over and over no matter what the topic is about. Team topic, Dak this.... Coach topic Dak that... It never changes. That's why everybody takes what ACR says with a grain of salt.

I would have to say no but close.

Better:
Saints
GB
49ers
Seattle
Vikings

Close:
Eagles
Cowboys
Rams

Might suprise people:
Bucs
Atlanta

If we ever get the defense figured out we may he the team to beat
Might surprise should include the Cardinals.

I think we’ll win 10 games next season. Will that get us in the top-5? I don’t know and don’t care. I just hope we can finally have consistent performances out of all three phases every game.

Garrett led teams, outside of a few outliers, always had one phase (or more) of the game not showing up on game day. It was frustrating to watch.

It’s all on paper my friend, all on paper. If W’s and L’s don’t carry over then why bring up McCarthy’s record vs Jason Garrett’s (not saying you personally). Every year I hear how great this team is supposed to be the following year for one reason or another and the Cowboys consistently rule the NFL as “next seasons” champs through media and fan hype.

How do we know they are better than last year? Zeke looked good last year but has declined slightly every year. The O line is older, we lost our best corner and don’t know how his replacement will be. We also lost our sack leader and have two wild cards to try and match his production. LVE and Jaylon weren’t looking too hot even when LVE was healthy. TE is a pretty big unknown and even coaching is an unknown. I’d say the only area of definitive improvement will be the receiving group and interior line but there are other areas we have just as many negative concerns.

I’m mildly optimistic but I’m taking all of this with a grain of salt until proven otherwise.
The good fortune that has occurred this offseason is not just on paper. I never brought up McCarthy's record versus Garrett's record, so how it that a talking point to me? You ask me how I know the Cowboys are better. I'm not talking about what I know, I'm talking about what I suspect. Can I not be hopeful for the team's future? All the past that you bring up is true, but I'm not one to believe that trend will continue. I say that after weighing all that has happened this offseason. It's not nothing and it's certainly not just on paper.

We know those 6 are better. Embarrassingly better in the case of Wentz.

Packers and Rams are arguably better.

I'd put the Cowboys somewhere in the 7-9 range in the NFC. Not sure they're much better than teams like the Bears and Cardinals to be honest.

No

Saints

Packers

Bucs

Hawks

9ers

Are all better
How can anyone possibly say this. We have the talent and now possibly the coach to put it all together. I think we could be the best team in the NFC.

There's too much ground to be made up before I'd wisely assume we'll be that good in one year. Let's just allow due time to develop!
We were only as good as Jason Garrett was. I think I can go back to Prescott’s First season. Period

This is not going to be the same old Cowboys. I think we play like we did in Prescott first season.

I see the question posed by the OP as wanting to know what we think we're capable of relative to our new staff and this year's talent.
