Everett was such a great addition and played a key role in that victory. Crazy to think JJ forgot about how important the safeties are to any team.

I was watching it on you tube not too long ago and something came up. I'm pretty sure it was during SB 27. I think because that was also the year the Bills made their amazing comeback against the Oilers.

A question was asked, what was the biggest NFC team comeback in history? The answer was in 1957 the Lions came back from 27-7 or something like that. That was a BS answer. The question was in response to the Bills comeback against the Oilers in the AFC. In 1957 there was no AFC or NFC. How is that a legit answer?

Such a great game/day. Was a Jr. in college at VaTech. Had a HUGE fight with my gf the night before. We made up that morning. Later we had a SB party at our apartment, and got to watch the Cowboys defeat the Bills with a lot of bitter Skins fans; many of whom thought Ricky Ervins was better than Emmitt....AS. IF. Partied the rest of the night. Great day.

Although my favorite all time game was probably two weeks before avenging The Catch game by defeating the Niners in SF. Prior to that, it was probably Danny White's playoff comeback in Atlanta. I'm just barely old enough to remember the Dal/Den SB, but it's blurry.

Was there.

Best day of life.

I dont tell certain people that lol.

Three of us had season tickets from 92-94 and commuted from NJ. Made most of the games.

We got tremendously lucky and were picked in the teams lottery. They were $175 each. I think they are over 1k now.

Some memories...

-Rose Bowl itself....what a tremendous place to see a game. Atmosphere and weather were perfect. Holds over 100k. Perfect SB place. Old, but so what. Incredible.

-Was terribly worried about getting that far and blowing it, especially after the early blocked punt.

-Haley was such a force all day. The JJ int/TD was very close to my seats.

-Bo Jackson was just above me in a suite.

-Had on my Aikman UCLA jersey ....no one was doing that at the time....got in on campus (someone another time at Texas Stadium tapped me on the shoulder and said my Aikman jersey was the wrong blue. Not joking).

-I recall watching Michael Jackson at halftime after getting two quick scores before half thinking that theres very little chance we arent champions soon.

Wow!

Same #1 game.

That playoff game in Atlanta is definitely top 5 for me also.

Without thinking much....I'd go with 92 opener vs Skins, 91 when we beat them at RFK at 11-0, 91 at Philly...KMart punt return.

Funny you mention those two though. Good call.

I want you younger fans to experience what the rest of us felt to end the Super Bowl drought this team had since Super Bowl 12 against the Broncos.

There are probably some fans on here that were conceived a few hours after that Super Bowl was completed lol.

Heres some perspective...from the 1977 season until that of 1992 was 15 years. We at least made the NFC title game in three of those years, and five playoff appearances otherwise.

If that was a drought, what exactly are we in now??

I mean, its somewhat rhetorical, since the answer is we are watching Jerry play with his toy. Pretty sad looking at it that way.

I've always said that - Haley was the big get and deserved the attention but a lot of people forget that Everett was also a very nice piece added to that team.

Ironically one year later (1994) Simpson was accused of his ex-wife's homicide.
