35 million + investing in the offensive line, investing in the wide receiver group, investing in the running back position, the only thing we haven't invested in is the tight end, and I don't think we really need to. Setting the table is one thing cutting his stake for him is quite another. Is Dak a bum? No. Can we win with him? Yes. As long as it works out for the Cowboys I don't need to understand it or agree with it.

Let's Go Cowboys! :flagwave:

If Romo can get paid, so can Dak. Romo was there for 11 seasons and never sniffed an NFC Championship, let alone a SB. But he got paid.

All I wish is Dak to get paid more than Goff and Wentzie, his contemporaries. Dak is better than both. If JJ pays Dak more than these 2 clowns, I'm satisfied.

I agree with the summation. However, Dak Philly game is over rated because he did not practice his normal routine during the week. Dak is a grinder and I remember when he came back after missing time because of the death of his mother. He was spraying the ball all over the place. But he then settled down and started to carve up in the passing game and making plays with his legs until he settled down. Well he could not use his legs in the Philly game early because you would have had "just a guy" back up QB on the field. The next week he was back to his routine and peeling the skins like a filet knife in the passing game.

The good thing about Dak is that he is a grinder. He constantly gets better and better and works hard at getting better. He will also not lose games by turning the ball over (only in the Seattle game 2 years ago).

A lot of the throw behind completions would have either get the WR smashed or led to an interception. Give me a QB that does not turn the ball over and I will give you at least 8 wins per year. Dak has never been below .500 wins at the end of a season in Jr. high, high school, college or the NFL.

He makes you throw your cowboys cap at the TV with some of his throws and decision making. But he always have the Cowboys in a position to win the game and not lose the game. To me, that is a franchise QB.

Prescott can read a defense. Jared Goff? Prescott can play an entire season . Carson Wentz? Best quarterback in the draft class . Pay him. And they will. Just like Elliot. Just a matter of when
Right you are, govnor. Right you are.
I bet Dak could beat Wench in a fight!!!

once again I beg you to answer...if he can't even PRACTICE...why in the HELL should he start and play the whole game?

Okay yea because "rush isn't the answer".

What and keep Dalton has the starter LMAO . We have an offense they can win the division and then who knows with the new head coach. Yeah let’s go backwards and don’t pay him
Exactly.

We all know he isnt worth what he is going to get. None of these guys are.

Better alternative for now? Dalton? No.

Anyway about him being worth 35m, I guess so, but I'm pretty sure that was offered....AND I STILL say that shorter term deal is a win/win for the team.

If Dak can't score huge amounts of points this year with the best receiving corps iin the NFL to go along with Zeke/Pollard and the of offensive line, then he might be the worst starter in the league.
