Please tell me who is the six better backs in front of him?

Didn't say there were 6 backs better than him, but if I had to rank who I would take?

1. Barkley
2. McCaffrey
3. Henry
Those 3 I definitely take over Zeke. Then I think Zeke is in the conversation all together with:

Kamara, Zeke, Chubb, Mixon, Jacobs, Connor

Then probably this tier

Gurley, Melvin Gordon, Dalvin Cook.

These guys are more skilled, but have injury issues.

If I want one back to do it all, then Zeke moves up. But since I value a RB by committee I take many in the 2nd tier over Zeke.

BIG PLAY ability is one of the biggest things for a RB for me and Zeke is in short supply of that. Behind an average line Zeke would be much less effective.

Mccafery
Henry
Barkley
Sony Michel
Alvin kamara
Dalvin cook
Josh jacobs
Levoen bell

behind the cowboys line who knows. all more explosive backs

It could he argued the Ewok should have his best season yet. This cat has been “feeding” off a silver spoon since college. Not one other RB has had as good and consistent O line for as long as Zeke has. He’s also had the privilege of having Coop for part of his career and now he has Lamb and Coop which should open things up even more for him. A good percentage of NFL RB’s would have had similar success in his situation which is why it was dumb to waste such a high draft pick and contract on him. Not to mention his selfish diva attitude and off the field antics.

It’s amazing a RB like Barkley has even had as close to the success, and better in several areas, considering he’s had one of the worst lines in the league since his rookie year and never had a true #1 receiver for a full season which was only his rookie year anyways.

...and people make excuses for the Ewok when just one of our O lineman gets hurt or how other teams focus on him when he’s got more threats on his team than many others.

Can’t wait until this clown is sent packing with his purses. Send him to the Jets or any team with even a mediocre O line and lets see how “elite” he is. I would LOVE to see fatty choke while “feeding” on a big piece of humble pie when he’s not so spoiled.

:lmao2:hater be hatin
thats a joke of list some cant stay helathy and thats a fact Michel is overrated as they come done squat with NE, Cook cant stay helathy and that makes him unreliable;, Bell disappeared years ago and isnt even in the picture until he proves otherwise..

Jacobs is too new and TBD for me..

yes barkley and McCaffery are more explosive and that doesnt make them BETTER..Barkley already missed time in his short career as he did in college....

I would have put Chubb in that list and take 3 of the others off.. realty and facts are what they are and EE is still élite regardless of some hater opinions..hes game planned for and is a full 3 down back that can catch..he doesnt need to be AS explosive Emmitt smith was NOT considered explosive like his counterpart in Sanders, neither was considered better then the other they were both great in their own way.. BTW sanders didnt have line and look at what he did, the excuse to the others needed our line, blah hahahahahhah..

Henrys finally had a great year lets see how he continues but hes good in his own way..

lastly Kamara not better then zeke hes a change of pace back that proved last year without Ingram hes not as great when the full time starter..Backs are different and can all be good to great in their own way and durability is HUGE factor and zeke does it ALL with durability..

Does Dak have the same advantages you give to Zeke?

I'm a Zeke fan.
I originally called him an "Ewok".
It was intended as a term of endearment.
Like a nickname a father gives a son.
However, that nickname was hijacked and now means something very
different on this board.

I wanted him on the team 2 years before he was even eligible to draft.
As @cern mentioned, he's a chain moving machine.

RBs usually don't win MVP awards. It takes insanely gaudy statistical seasons
for one to win it. It turned into a QB award years ago.

I look for his touches to decrease early, but he could very well "take over" for the
playoff run. (re: John Riggins and Jerome Bettis)

Right brother! I can;t for the life of me figure why such hate for our own player. A damn good player, even. So when someone uses "Ewok" insultingly...I can only imagine they don;t like the way he...looks?

Zeke will have a smaller workload than ever. We have 3 badass receivers and his backup will get a lot more touches.

Plus you cant be an MVP without breaking a single long run. MVP level Zeke is gone.

Ask Giants fans about Barkley's blocking. He had a very poor 2nd season dealing with an early injury.
Mc/Kamara/Michael are all specialty type of backs, not workhorse runners. Let's see how their little frames will hold up.
Cook cannot stay healthy
Bell is way past his prime
Really saying a rookie is better then Zeke-please
Henry is the only legitimate back I would right now put ahead of Zeke

Zeke has never missed a start due to injury, he has put up elite production since he arrived in the NFL.

Zeke is a god!

I’m assuming I’ll have 100 “likes” within 10 minutes of this “Post of the Day!”

Honestly, Zeke is the best all-around RB. Just like Emmitt, not the best athlete like Barry or Saquon, but the better and more durable RB. History repeating itself!

I’ve explained to you why I don’t like him in a very detailed response to which you never replied because you know my reasons for disliking him as a person and disliking the draft pick and contract we gave him are valid.

Would you like me to copy and past that response to refresh your memory?

Zeke isn’t getting mauled in the backfield by the entire d line almost every play like Barkley. Put him behind that line and I would bet good money he would have had some sort of injury by now.

-It's fair to argue about his lose of explosiveness.
-I live in NY, Barkley isn't a run up the tackles type of runner. He has big play abilities, but he's very hit or miss.
-After what Henry did in the playoffs, I would put him ahead of everyone else, including Zeke at this moment.
-Zeke is clearly on the first tier of running backs, having a 1,300 yard season is still terrific. With more opportunities in the pass game expected, he should become even more of a weapon.

I'm a big fan of Barkley, but when you watch him enough you will see some weaknesses in his game. He always tries for the big play, where sometimes he needs to just power his way through a hole and get a positive gain. As I said, he is one of the worst backs in protection, he is an excellent receiver, but shouldn't be anywhere in the backfield protecting the QB. He is a special talent as is Zeke, we are just splitting hairs, but the only thing right now is Zeke lacks explosiveness and hasn't gotten an opportunity to become a weapon in the passing game, which I think happens this season.

I agree that Barkley is hit or miss but behind that line how is he supposed to be consistent? With his big play ability I think he would have thrived much more behind the Cowboys line than Zeke. When Barkley has the space zeke has on a lot of plays he makes things happen, zeke lost that after his rookie year.

...and yes, I will concede the ewok has been a better blocker.

Trash? Lol....ok. It was clear he was playing injured most of the season yet he still had a higher ypc avg than zeke, among other stats and behind a horrendous O line whereas zeke had the 2nd best run blocking O line in the league. So what do you call zeke?

A dumpster fire? Hot garbage? Over rated? A diva? A jerk? A prima dona? A waste of a draft pick? A waste of salary cap space? A waste of a human being?

The correct answer is all of the above!

With a weak QB there is now way Zeke can have monster years. last year defenses picked on Dak by boxing in Zeke and forcing Dak to beat them the results 8-8...plan more of the same this year.

There's no need for that. It's your opinion, you've explained. We don;t agree, big deal right?

And I think you were very kind using THAT zeke photo. I've seen worse. :D
