It's got to be hard to be considered a #1 on your team when the guy playing across from you is Julio Jones, nobody is going to unseat Julio at the moment, Lamb has a better chance of moving past Cooper (not this season but next year moving forward) who has all the talent in the world but in my opinion is a little soft in the toughness department
Again, Ridley wouldn't be a number 1 almost anywhere.
He is an older rookie who was maxed out.
He actually produced less as a WR2 then Gallup.
Ridley is the very definition of possession WR.
Great hands, great route-running but can't beat elite CBs and has no explosiveness.

PFF Ranks ATL only 13th in receiving corps entering 2020. This is with Julio as their top WR of the last 5 seasons, and 3rd rated last year alone.
Ridley's 68 and 74 ratings were solid NFL starter numbers but far from the WR1 area.--90 was elite starter.
And even if you side eye anything by PFF, the pure stats are easy to find.
35th in receiving yards
39th in yards per reception
Tied for 16th with 8 people for Receiving TDs.
161st in receiving yards after catch. --Tied with Tony Pollard here.
Tied for 38th in plays over 20 yards.

Ridley was woefully overrated coming out because he went to Bama.
He's been overrated ever since for the same reasons.

I think he would be #3 behind Lamb and Jeudy.
Id take Ruggs and Jefferson over Ridley. Id take him just above Reagor. Jefferson could wind up the most productive WR in this class. Ruggs, people look at his speed and think is just a straight line speedster. He is incredibly smooth and has alotnof RAC potential. He may not be a volume catch guy, but he opens up alot.

Ridley could be a volume guy if an offense had to feature him. But I dont think that would very efficient. I think he is a better athlete than his SPARQ indicates. However I dont think he has is a guy you can count on game in and game to beat a defense focusing on him. I think his upside is that of a Donald Driver/Miles Austin caliber WR

I know this is a Cowboys fan board, but no bias, who do you guys think will be a better pro?

Both were arguably the best receiver in their class, and while Ridley has had a nice career thus far, I would hope Lamb would put up better numbers.

I dont see Ridley as a #1 receiver in the league. I hope Lamb can and will be that guy once we move on from Cooper
It depends what you’re looking for. If you need a possession receiver who gets doubled, I’d take lamb. If you’re looking. for a number two receiver who can get deep bad one on one, I’ll take Ridley. Plus ridleys already 26. Lamb is 21, so he has more tune to get better.
