Again, I like Dak. I think he’s about the 9th best QB in the league.

But he has elite weapons, an elite RB, an elite o-Line and whether we like it or not, QBs are judged by wins. And he went 8-8 and missed the playoffs. Had a terrible record and stats against playoff teams and great stats and record against bad teams. He’s 1-2 in the playoffs in 4 years.

QBs make big money cause they’re defined by wins/losses more than any position. And fair or not, that’s the biggest stat to look at when determining their contract.

Aikman also had elite weapons. Why doesn't he get judged for that?

Wonder what Dak shared with the team? But maybe it wouldn't pass the censors here so it wasn't included in the first post.

My reply to OP didn’t pass the censors, so I’m not sure why the original statement calling Dak a leader did.

if Dak is such a great leader, why did Michael Bennett have to go off in the locker room after being with the team for a such a short time?

I think it's because the team saw that they were doomed to mediocrity as long as JG was the HC. The Dallas front office has supported Mike McCarthy infinitely better.

The QB can only do what the HC allows. The difference in how the Dallas FO reacts to their head coach speaks volumes as to the difference between those two staffs.

Dak has won more games in 4 years than any QB than Tom Brady. Based on your logic, how is Dak not an elite QB if he is to be judged by wins instead of stats?

My hats off , biggest thanks and gratitude to 817Gill..

This week's version of Whispers from the Star post on this board was very well done especially in absence of ClappingCarrott usual work reports
Your work was just as similar to Carrot's such as you cannot even tell the difference. Same well written format style and all...
Thanks for Sharing.

You can tell Whispers from the Stars is so very catching and addictive - whether some posters like it ... or not. Admit it or not

I enjoyed reading the information from the second item. It’s good to know Mike is doing it his way.

They've pretty much said and done that for every coach. Jerry was quoted as saying that so long as things were going well he didn't feel the need to meddle, meaning that as soon as things are not up to standard he'll be trying to "help",,, and maybe sooner. Enter Terrell Owens.

Thanks for the help today brother! Good post!

My boss actually called me at 11:00 AM eastern today (we are all still working from home) and I missed the entire live segment. The lady also had some family in town today and we were tied up grilling out and drinking beers.

Glad to know others are genuinely interested in this content.

i suspected something was up and mysterious about Gregory's supposed report that he "filed for reinstatement " sometime last off season.
Not only did i suspect it was another " hiccup" set back that led to another lengthy suspension, but the length of time that went on had to
draw some questions if Randy and his camp was just never ready to return to the game on a mental sense.
So it's really noteworthy to observe if Randy is indeed hungry and stable enough to be ready to return to the game.
and really wants to be a great player.

Not sure if @ClappingCarrot

3. JJT dug some on Amari Cooper and where he lines up during the season. Coop is a beast in the slot (numbers REALLY support this despite his lack of snaps there). Only ran 74 snaps from the slot, one of the lowest for starting WR’s. But only Michael Thomas averaged more yards per route and Coop was top 8 in ‘15 & ‘17 from the slot as well. JJT thinks Coop will have plenty of opportunities to make plays from the slot. His quickness and size give him an advantage in the slot. When JJT asked the source about why Coop didn’t play more in the slot, source replied “We had Randall Cobb so we didn’t really need to shift him inside.” (Talk about predictable lol). Scout also added that won’t be the case this year as Amari’s foot quickness, strength, size, and release ability make him virtually unguardable in there. Outside WR’s are limited by the boundaries and face the best corners, JJT seems to think Coop as the primary slot option is perfect, as the Hopkins mold Ceedee Lamb has the optimal traits for an outside WR. Doesn’t mean he won’t get snaps inside, but keep an eye on Coop as the main recipient on slot opportunities. Our slot WR’s period are “going to eat this year”.

Use the quick, precise route runner in the slot? That's just crazy talk!

“We had Randall Cobb so we didn’t really need to shift him inside.”

Damn right! We didn't have to rock the boat, so we didn't! We do what we do!

So has Rodgers ever been a great leader? A great grab the men and rah rah lets get em boys? Allof that we will play for him stuff is garbage. I dont care if Dak is liked. Im thinking if Mahomes told the locker room the reason we are gonna win another SB is my golden arm... it wouldnt matter. Theyd still win.

In regards to McCarthy not giving in to the Jones' What the hell is there to argue about? What temp to set the thermostat in the office? Where they are ordering lunch from? What color McCarthy wanted his walls in the office painted? cmon..........enough with the glowing posts about how different McCarthy is the JG. If we dont win 11 or 12 games, none of that will mean jack squat.

AS soon as the NFL stopped worrying about pot, that ensured Gregory would be returning.

Thank you for posting. The one thing that no one can argue about is Dak leadership ability. He has tons of that. Now if he can improve his accuracy, read defenses better, and most of all get the offense in the end zone in big games. I believe he can and hope he leads us to many SB

Well, I thought Aikman was overrated as well. Lol.

He was also very good. Better than Dak, at this point. But I don’t think Troy was ever an elite QB.

But he also won 3 Super Bowls and won a ton of playoff games. Will Dak? I hope so. But he hasn’t yet. So why should he be paid as so?
