As for what McCoy said, it isn’t offensive, it was just his opinion at the time. Maybe still is - we don’t have any way to know that. But the point, if you will relax and listen rather than go into this silly attack mode, I explained in post 21 in this thread.

And I stand by what I said about it being a year ago. Again, players feel and say all sorts of things that never jump out at fans a year later, and they say feel and say them from the perspective of a player on a different team. A year later he may feel differently - which even you seem to suggest by saying he should correct the record. If the year is irrelevant, what is there to correct?

But aside from that, other players can give their thoughts, good or bad, about a player on another team without it being an issue a year later - things they wouldn’t say if they were on the same team with that player. McCoy’s circumstances have changed, and now he is on the same team as Dak, and being criticized for saying something that any other player on another team could have said without it being a problem today. That’s why the year matters.
