oh, yeah, lets listen to Colin who has been wrong most often than not on many things....he is a radio personality head, that needs to generate headlines so he can get clicks and ratings....right now Dak is hot topic, so he is piggy backing...given there is no other sports news really, they have to fill airtime with something to keep people interested...

colin sucks, even when he was giving cowboys positive news....not a guy I ever listen to or put any credence behind is opinion...

flip-flopps more than pancakes at Denny's.
like his June rant about how Dak is comparable to Russel Wilson and how well run the Cowboys are.
then his mid-season flop about stop with the Dak to Wilson comparisons...when it was he who made them.
and his non-sense before the draft about how we'll find out how good Dak is w/out Travis Frederick yet failed to mention we already saw it when Joe Looney filled in for him.

thats when i cut out on the herd.

I mean it’s true. No QB in the history of the NFL has started their career with a better OL and RB combo. Now his receivers on the other hand, have not always been up to snuff but that was reflected in his bottom of the league passing TD totals the first three years.

its true.

jerry himself said the priority for himself, will mcclay, and the rest of the front offive was to make sure the offense was as “dak friendly” as possible and invested a huge amount of resources into it. moving forward that does not happen as much anymore when dak gets his money so it is a fair point.

Well with Ceedee here it’s not like he’ll be outta weapons anytime soon. Amari is locked up, Gallup has two more years and maybe more depending on what they wanna do, Ceedee’s here for 5.

Zeke is locked up, 3 of the Olineman are locked up, Jarwin is in the fold for a few more years as well.

This team drafts well on offense and routinely hits on their 1st rounder. There’s really no reason other than ravaging injury to multiple position groups (which rarely happens) to believe Dak will ever have to prove if he can do it with less than stellar players.

That topic is only good for banter. In reality, Dak will most likely have above average to elite parts around him for the entirety of his next contract. So why does it matter what he can do without good players? If Mike can coach, then he’ll be in an even more optimal environment for success.

The goal is to surround your QB with support, it’s not a competition to see how little you can give him.

I get where Cowherd is coming from. I mean if I had a small brain and didn't really understand football i wouldn't be able to correctly evaluate him either. Luckily I don't have those problems

but they won many playoff games and Super Bowl. Dak hasn't won anything. In fact he has missed the playoffs two of the last four years even with all his weapons.
His wr by committee? His 1 full season with coop and gallup where the defense, special teams, and coaching were trash. Or the other season where the O line decided to take a year off.

He was just as bad before ESPN when he was a Portland, Oregon radio/tv sports guy. Same boring jibber jabber.
