Well, I do live in New York and have to admit that after the Cowboys I started appreciating the Giants , they build mostly via the draft and they occasionally have one of those seasons when little is expected of them and they surprise their fans with a playoff appearance.. PLUS they have beaten the New England Patriots TWICE in the Super Bowl including ending their undefeated season.

ironically, those two super bowl teams for the Giants were mostly free agent acquisitions.

They were outliers in that regard because up until at least 2015 or so, they were the only two teams in the cap era to win a super bowl with over 50% of their roster comprised of FAs.

but I get it. The Giants are kind of a blue collar team with some great under dog teams.

I spent years arguing with their fans on their boards before they were shut down. I eventually appreciated them as well

Mine is the Los Angeles Chargers.

My dad was a San Diego Charger fan and I've always pulled for them when they play. Huge Rivers fan and Keenan Allen is a baller.

Thankfully they're in the AFC and only play Dallas once every four years.

Nope,
I hate all NFL teams that do not wear a star on their helmet. I hate a couple a little more than the rest.

Was a Longhorn fan before Dallas. When the Jets had Texas players and Namath, I followed them.

Like to watch great QBs, hope seven teams get beat unless their wins help the Cowboys, and the Patriots under Belicheck have the right enemies.

Hard to support the Chiefs because of Reid’s ties with the Iggles.

When watching other teams, it is fun to see who my emotions decide to back.

When watching other teams, I want to see a good game.

The Saints. My brother picked them as a kid in the 90’s because he has blue/green and yellow/red color blindness, so their uniform color schemes didn’t throw him off.

I don’t know why them over something like the Raiders, but he stuck with them.

LOL no. I don't root for any other team to win unless I particularly despise the team they are playing.

I use to live and die with every Cowboys game but fantasy football changed that. My 2nd favorite team is my fantasy team. IM cheering for whoever is on it. Ive had a broad range of NFC east and many other teams players on it. I had Dak in 2016 and Wentz in 2017. I dont bet with my heart. I had MIles Sanders against the Cowboys last year. But I also had Zeke.
Ive become more a fan of the NFL than just one team.

I follow the bears because they were my grandmother's favorite team but always rooted against them when they played the Cowboys. Otherwise I hate everything other team.

I used to play fantasy football for about 2 seasons but I found that I couldn't root for someone on my fantasy team if his team was playing the Cowboys or if by my player having a big game and his team wins and gets some kind of lead in the standings over the Cowboys. So I decided I couldn't play fantasy football because I can't root for anyone or anything that would hurt the Cowboys.

Dallas has always been my favorite team but, as a kid, there were a couple of other teams that I kind of liked because of their colors, helmets, or whatever. One was the Seahawks (who were an AFC team). I remember liking the RB Curt Warner. The Chargers have always been sort of my AFC team. I liked those late 70's teams and then enjoyed watching Junior Seau (always loved that blue #55 jersey). Funny thing is my son, on his own, chose the Chargers as his 2nd favorite team. Ekeler and Allen did well for me in fantasy last year and helped me win a championship for the 2nd year in a row - so I was enjoying watching the Chargers offense last year. Currently, I definitely have a soft spot for the Chiefs too and that's mostly due to fantasy football. I've had Kelce on my team a couple of times and he was a monster both times. In '18 I had Kelce AND Mahomes (13th round!), in addition to an absurd roster which dominated from start to finish. I found myself watching a lot of Chiefs games to see what my dynamic duo would do and they rarely, if ever, disappointed. Mahomes and that offense are just fun to watch. It's pretty hard not to like Mahomes. There's no doubt that, at least for me, fantasy football starts to make one feel connected with certain players who have helped you win. If they happen to be on the same team, you follow that team more closely. If that team is not a Dallas rival, you kind of start to like them a little. Having said all that, I only have ONE favorite team.:starspin:

I actually have co-number one's

Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders

Back in the day before the merger...I was a die hard Raiders Fan in the AFL...dem raiders - chiefs games were something back in the day.

Also a die hard cowboys fan in the NFL and "next year's champions".

No need to fret back then because they would never play each other...or so we thought.

Never bothered to choose one over the other. If they ever met/meet in the championship...guess I'd have two hangovers...one for winning and one for losing.

Go Cowboys!
The Raiders were the first team with not only their players as characters but those fans in The Black Hole. It didn't get any scarier than Ben Davidson and John Matusak in the NFL, on or off the field.

I was fascinated by their ability to work with "problem players" that other teams had given up on. I think it helped that Crazy Al, anything but crazy back then, was not like other owners and the first real players' owner. He was all about be you anywhere you want to be but be who I need you to be when in my uniform. If he had become an owner, that's the way Jimmy Johnson would have been. He would have been the perfect HC for Al Davis.
