Funny statement to make considering Tyron Smith and Zack Martin literally made first team all-decade a few weeks ago.......

Considering Tyron doesn't even have a proper backup i'd say him. He's cut tomorrow I don't see any way they make the playoffs (I remember it was some crazy stat like the cowboys are 2 wins 8 losses in games he's missed)
Good points actually

Take any starter below and replace with the backup, would a winning outcome with the starter turn into a losing outcome with the replacement? If the answer is no then they are dispensable.
Offense:
Dak - no
Zeke - possibly
Cooper - possibly
Gallup - no
Jarwin - no
Smith - yes
Williams - lol
Center - lol
Martin - yes
Collins - possibly

Defense:
Don't think any are indispensable, but Lawrence and Lee are critical to their success.

Everyone on this team can be replaced.

So weird. Before responding I was thinking that in prior years I may have said left tackle Smith or Zeke but now...

I'm totally with you. :)

Given the lively debate on salaries and the real contributors to this team , which player is considered indispensable for next season ?
I would argue , no one is indispensable as this is mostly a system team with no true elite players. Which could be a good thing by the way.
We can't go far without Dak.

That drill could lead to a hip replacement.

Sure with lesser talent which is what you and many others here would do to save the Cowboys money. All our key players would be replaced if it was up to many on this board. The Cowboys would have a roster full of castoffs but as long as they have team friendly deals most here would be happy. It’s almost like most on this board care more about the team having a low payroll than winning. I can’t recall an offseason where I’ve seen more fans complain about player contracts than this offseason.

Lets not pretend the highest payroll wins either. We have no one of this roster that is so talented they can not be replaced. There is no once in a lifetime generational player on this team and that is true for most teams. We are pretty far up against the cap so we should be making an SB push yet we might not even make the playoffs.
