Secret? Teams know Dak can run.
He should have been running a lot more than he has.

That is a huge part of his game that either he leaves on the field or he has been instructed to do at this point.

It should not be a secret that when the chips are down, if he runs, better things happen.

When he has rallied the team, it is not on his arm. It is from getting those yards that are there with his legs.

It has been an ingredient in every "comeback" game he has had. He runs and grabs the easy yards.

I don't know if it is him or what he was told.

But he needs to run more.

With the weapons here there should be room to run. I definitely think we need to see more of it.
They have been saying this for going on 5 years.

Didn't you get the memo?

Last year Dak hurt his shoulder and apparently this is a chronic injury he had as far back as HS and college.

Dallas knew about it yet drafted him anyway.

That is obviously why they do not want him to run. The shoulder was hurt towards the end of the season.

He just took pain injections and played.

Going forward, he is not going to run anything other than QB sneaks.

No more sprint passes, option plays or end arounds.

Zip zero nada

On second thought I hope they do run him.

It will get Dalton in there sooner.

Run Dak run.

"Dak should run more" is said every off-season, I know cause I say it. But, this year I hadn't really thought about it.

Stupid idea. If we insist on making him the most expensive QB in the NFL, running him more is just plain dumb. Occasionally, yes. Making it a major portion of the offense? Nope. Abouliutly idiotic.

This^^^^

JG obviously coached this out of him. It was ridiculous. When he runs we win. When he doesn’t, it’s 50/50. Maddening

I've been waiting for the secret weapon on defense and special teams for years.

It shows up in the stats. Sort games by number of carries for Dak. High numbers mean win, less than 2 means loss.

There are very few QBs that can inflict damage with their running but not get beat up in the process and Dak is not one of them. His physical presence has kept him off the injured list but that won't last for long with the kinds of hits he takes... running more will just turn him into Wentz.

Its not like you have designed running plays for your franchise QB, soon to probably be highest paid in the league.
Lets make no mistake, Dak is no Lamar Jackson.
Seemed like JG had a leash on Dak, and just told him if the play breaks down, just throw it away, avoid the sack.
When Dak looked to be most effective was when he would bail and run if he felt the need to do so.
A smart HC would tell any QB, even Tom Brady to keep that option in your back pocket...lol
Poor Daniel Jones, let us introduce you to the Red Headed genius.

Whatever they try do on offense is fine as long as the fix the slow starts. That alone lost like 4 games last year
