And it has no home field advantage. Every game there are at least 10,000 fans from our opponent that week. Yeah that “Stayjum” is doing exactly what it was built to do- make loads of cash. The best NFL stadiums make money but are also great home field advantages for the home team. Another Jerry gives the fans the finger moment while laughing all the way to the bank.

This is true of like all teams though. Scalping in the PSL era is unlike any other time. Its a huge problem but the league doesn't care because all the tickets are sold in may so they do not care who is in the stands when the games are actually played.

The giants and jets play in the biggest city in the country and their stadium is over run every week with visiting fans. It's all about the PSL's and people selling tickets to make money. Every stadium seems to be very similar and have the same problems.

The rams are never going to have fans in their new stadium unless a big time visiting opponent is there and same thing with the chargers and this is in an enormous city.

Why so many opposing fans at the stadium? Is it because so many tickets available and/or other fans want to make the trip to the stadium?

Both of these reasons. This stadium was a destination for the first 5 or 6 years. Everyone wanted to come see the dumb video board.

I think that has worn off and what is currently happening is that a lot of ticket holders sold their PSL's and they were bought by people who only have them with the intent to sell the tickets to make money. So with so many seats owned by scalpers nearly every game half the seats are available each week and then visiting fans buy a lot of them.

another small element of it is this city is growing and growing and a lot of people have moved here from other parts of the country and they want to go see their teams play when they are here.

I honestly believe if we did not have PSL's and tickets were not so expensive along with parking that this would not be an issue. At texas stadium scalping was legal and people were selling tickets in the parking lots for cheap and cowboys fans would bring there friends/family knowing they could get a ticket in the parking lot. Now its illegal to sell a ticket within a mile of the stadium.

I don't know how the nfl stops this trend of scalping all over the league while having PSL's.

Isn’t basically every game sold out for every team? I mean the patriot Games are always sold out but they are low on the list.

seems that this is a list based on stadium capacity. Teams are probably getting at least 95 percent of their stadium capacity filled. Also probably does not account for state policies that may allow extra seating or building capacity.

I don't think every team sells out. I think the big market teams area all sold out long before the season but there are a number of teams that do not.

Heard 50% capacity will be the max. I can't see more than 45K tickets allowed.....
I am wondering by September if some or most states are going to be fully opened. Florida should be phase 3 by 4th of July. I don’t know if they are pushing there luck or not or how other states are doing.

Think about this:

Texas economy. People have been moving to Texas from everywhere because Texas has been growing for decades and they bring their team loyalty with them. Then there's the aspect of a lot of companies being based in Texas or opening new regional offices.

Lastly is fan defections from the local team. Local sports loyalty is in the gutter just like loyalty in general. Dallas thrives on a fan base built from the 1970's. Then the 90's solidified. I can't imagine being drawn to this team from 1986-1990 or much after the 1990's dynasty disintegrated. Sure, it happened that we have a number of relative newcomers as fans but if this team happened to go on a decently long playoff roll then the Jones' bank vaults couldn't hold their dough.

I do wish Jerrah had considered sound reflection when he built the Death Star.

No logical reason to restrict fans under the age of 50 at all.

Those of us older folks should just wear a mask.

Ok sure but it doesn't tell you how many of those 90k are actually cowboy fans. I know from going to the games that it can be anywhere from 10-30% visiting fans and another 10% neutral observers there on business junkets.

No way can any argument be made in regard to an advantage on our home field.

I tend to agree because it's a laugh because the Deadskins haven't had 50% capacity in a 65k stadium in 2019. That is including the 25k fans of the opposition!!! Twice they had less than 30K people in the whole stadium.

It's great that the Cowboys led that but it's very misleading. Not every stadium has the capacity as Texas Stadium so teams that only have a capacity of oh say 69K or 70K can't even be considered with the capacity of Texas Stadium. Even the stadiums in that list that are in the 70's the majority of those it could be their capacity. Again it's great to see the Cowboys on top of the list by what exactly does it mean when held against stadiums with less capacity.

H-m-m. The Cowboys should have enough $$$ in reserve to tide them over through their lean year in 2020. :)

The cap is the same for every team, the amounts available are different. As far as that money the Cowboys have in reserve is actually what Jones has.
