Need to get in a few OTA type practices. Also with a new coach, the 5 teams with new HC, should get some extra time as they usually do.
However since the NFL said nothing can happen now until June 25th. Not sure what their delay is accomplishing. Just make players wear masks.

Are we gonna have OTA's?

How long does it take to get a team ready to win a game?

High school, college, pro?

Six weeks?

In the NFL it takes a full offseason of mini camps and OTA’s. It’s not just preparation to win a game it’s to get players bodies prepared for the rigors of an NFL season. With no normal offseason players aren’t going to be in football shape. Some players won’t be in shape at all. We’re bound to see a lot of injuries especially soft tissue.

If training camps go off as planned on July 22 teams are going to have to cram everything they missed during OTA’s and mini camps into training camp. We’re bound to hear about some significant injuries popping up early on around the league. If there’s only two preseason games like what’s being talked about starters are going to have to play a lot. If teams attempt to play scared during preseason and sit starters they aren’t going to be ready for the start of the regular season. They’ll be some sloppy football early in the season and a lot of injuries.

I'm actually happy to see guys doing their own work, having their own workout regimes. I know they're probably having their school and preparations via zoom or some other form of video virtual contact. But like you said, I anticipate some injuries early on.

I can't wait for pantomime football.

I wonder if the players can go full throttle if they are wearing face masks inside their helmets. Oops no mouth guards. "Hey ma, no teeth"!

I can't wait for the players whipping out the disinfectant and spraying each other after un-piling going after the ball. I can imagine defenders tackling air 6 feet away from the targeted opposing player and that being credited as a tackle!
The refs and the quarterback will be sanitizing the ball with wipes each time it is in their possession. There will be fan silhouette cut outs in the seats and cheering and dissing recordings going through the loudspeakers.
