When it was Emmitt...he was DURABLE. Dependable. Warrior. Future Hofer. Emmitt had 360 carries several seasons. SO he';s only "great because of volume"? Nope they won;t say it.

Zeke has only had like 320 max.....which is like an AVERAGE for Emmitt. Now that it's zeke...welll he just has too many carries. "he's only great because of volume" and they'll keep hammering that.

It makes NO sense. But don't bother calling him out on the double standard. Waste of time and he'll drag you down with it. He'll muddle it up and play victim.

Usually if you keep handing the rock off....it's a virtue. unless it;s a player you HATE for no real honest factual reason. That involves hypocrisy and double standards. Maybe more.

Right? I regressed just a little bit right there, but I wanted another forum member to know I support him. ...but I surely had more fun the last couple says "rethinking things" rather than engaging "the usual suspects".

I wanted JJ to trade him to NY for the #2 pick so we could get Barkley. But what do I know. Truth is Zeke isn't that great anymore, a few hard early years slowed him down plus I think he turned it down a bit after his big deal. BTW, IMHO he isn't worth his $. But they did the deal right and are set up to cut him in 2 years.

But all that being said, he's still pretty darn good. I'm glad we still have him for these 2 years.

Nah, BP is just fine...usually 115-120/75-80 but I appreciate your concern. It’s the regular season games that would do it.

I think you might have forgotten that I have said many times over......Zeke should not have held out, should not have been paid....and came back out of shape. I am very critical of that move on his part.

Can't say it's product, either....to still fight about draft position or salary at this point. I think he's a top NFL back...that has helped keep Dak healthy with durableness, being able to hand off so much, reliable safety valve...and of course the blocking (that he of course has a few wiffs).

I don;t really look to sports and entertainment people to be my moral compass. Unless of course it's really bad and obvious. If so, that;s great too but not my requirement. I happen to think Zeke has some sort of condition that he and "his people" have been hiding. He's a strange guy.

So...I'm a Buckeye homer...AND a Cowboy homer. I have been for 45+ years. Back in those days I could root for my team without hassle. Oh the wonders of modern technology.

It’s not yards per carry, it’s not broken tackles, it’s certainly not speed, nor receptions, nor yards after catch, nor yards after contact, nor defenders made missed, not even short yards situations which is allegedly his forte amongst all the Cowboys fans who live in a bubble.

Other than blocking and grabbing the ball behind one of the best O lines in football, what exactly makes him “elite” or even top 5 for that matter? There’s a lot of RB’s doing much more with much less.
