Then post in a Dak thread...
For this exercise, let's assume these guys are all in their primes...
For me I can't help but learn upon my experience..
LT - Tyrone Smith
LG - LA
C - Fredbeard
RG - The President
RT - Big Cat!!
I hope most of us can't see how this wouldn't work...
Can't wait to see the old-timer's tell me I'm stupid! Lol!
great player...but mostly as a packer.Forrest Gregg?
Niland and Nye...my favorite OG tandem.Favorite...
FIRST TEAM
LT- Tyron Smith
LG- HOFer Larry Allen
C- Tom Rafferty (one of only a few who played for Landry and Jimmy, and played in 3 SBs)
RG- Zack Martin- will be in HOF in 10-12 years
RT-HOFer- the original “Big Cat” Rayfield Wright
SECOND TEAM
LT- Ralph Neeley
LG- John Niland (3 time All pro in early 70s)
C- Travis Frederick
RG- Blaine Nye (2 time All pro in early 70s)
RT- La’el Collins- still improving
Hey Gimmesix, were you one of the posters on the old Fort Worth Star Cowboys board?
Thanks for pointing that out, I completely forgot about that. They had Ray Donaldson too at C, but he got injured I think. Then Kennard took over?
LT-Tyron Smith
LG- Larry Allen
C- Mark Stepnoski
RG-Zack Martin
RT- Erik Williams
I win
When you say Big Cat I can't help but think of Leon Lett...For this exercise, let's assume these guys are all in their primes...

edit: Gotta add Nate Newton at LG too. One of my favorites.
Leon Lett was referred to as "Big Cat". He was a defensive lineman.
'
Rayfield Wright was sometimes referred to as "Big Cat" but he was not better than Erik Williams.
Erik Williams was the best player at his position on the 92 and 93 Super Bowls teams that were as stacked with talent as it gets. He was probably the best player in the NFL those years and was a good those 2 years as any year by any Cowboys player...Ask John Madden.
Erik Williams shut down Reggie White and made Reggie cry on national TV. That was EW's 2nd year in the league.
The Car Wreck in 94 reduced him from super human to human but he still made All-Pro in 95 and 96 and had multiple Pro Bowl selections after the wreck.
The Cowboys lost the 94 NFC Championship because EW was out due to the wreck. Without that wreck they would have won the Super Bowl again and could have had 4 in a row.
In the post Lawrence Taylor era when the Blindside became a big focus for offenses, it's rare for a RT to get inducted into the Hall of Fame.
On a final note, Cowboys players and opponents were more afraid of Erik Williams than they were of Larry Allen according to Darren Woodson.
You do.LT-Tyron Smith

Haha. Several times! I almost put Erik Williams but what changed my mind was his only being effective about 4 years. After the wreck, he was a shell of what he had been. Collins is still getting better IMO.Collins over Erik Williams? Did you bump your head?

Rayfield Wright was the original Big Cat. I saw him speak in public back in his player days and he was introduced as “The Big Cat” by a teammate. I even heard Tom Landry call him that. He was the Big Cat and not just occasionally.Leon Lett was referred to as "Big Cat". He was a defensive lineman.
