Could you please give this "man" a safe space?

He may settle for a Trust Tree

Let's look at this a minute:
Does 8-8 make a team or their quarterback special?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against an Eagles team that was playing 2nd and 3rd Stringers? This was the game that defined Dak Prescott as to whether or not he could carry the team when they needed him.
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Bills?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Saints?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Bears?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Jets?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Patriots?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against the Vikings?
Did those 4900 passing yards help against any team in contention for a playoff spot?
Stats don't win Super Bowls. Players who show up when their team needs them win Super Bowls.
Dak isn't a leader. Leaders show up when the game- or the season, for that matter- is on the line.
When the Cowboys couldn't beat the Jets or the Eagles to get into the playoffs, it spoke volumes. When Dak couldn't lead the team when they needed him the most and get past even the weaker teams, it spoke volumes.
Actions speak louder than words. Dak threw the ball into the ground on 4th down.
He doesn't show up when the Cowboys need him to lead.
He simply is along for the ride when they beat up the weak teams.

So he gave examples of his opinion.

Weather you like it or not.

So why don't you explain to us what makes Dak so great to the point you have to defend him like a dedicated house wife.

He pulls crap out of his rear end.

You act like a sensitive loyal wife.

Where did I say Dak was "so great". You both apparently like to make arguments based on words you attribute to someone else that they didn't actually say.

I concur, Dak has not shown that he is a top QB but quite the contrarey, He has a top OL and top RB and top WR at his disposal and he has at this point played avg,
He doesn't need to be paid top QB money til he can lead and show that he deserves it, 8-8 is middle of the pack and thats where he needs to be paid til then.

Jared Goff - 33-21-0 $49,677,990 in career earnings PLUS $33,500,000 average annual salary
Carson Wentz - 32-24-0 - $39,676,339 in career earnings PLUS $32,000,000 average annual salary
Dak Prescott - 40-24-0 - $4,903,172 in career earnings

drop the mike on that??? :muttley:
duh dak was a 4th round pick the other 2 were top 3 1st round picks

He's got a point.

On the 'willingness to take a risk' scale Romo was probably an 8 and Dak is more like a 2.

Romo would have been better off he if dialed that back to a 5 and Dak would be better off if he ramped up to a 5.

Playing conservatively is fine much of the time but sometimes you have to trust yourself and your teammates and try and make something happen. That is a big part of the game that Dak is missing.

That's what I don't get here. It's literally a place for opinions. And debate. So if you disagree.....just go to insults first instead of showing why YOU think HE is wrong?

I'd rather not get heartbroken from a stupid game ending INT.

Why are wins/losses attributed to one player when we fans generally consider football to be the greatest “team” sport?
because he is wanting a pay increase of x 35 ??
This whole thing is about the amount he is asking for, what it will cost the team to keep him.

Losses are team losses, I agree, but I see a lot of fault I can attribute to dak in the losses, he is not alone, and the coaching
was crap.
That is why I say play him on the tag and see if they get past div round this year.

Dak Thinks 8-8 establishes him as "marquee"?
I agree and it pisses me off to no end that he couldn't make the defense get more turnovers, make the special teams better so they weren't the worst in the league and get Garrett to be a better coach *cough cough kicker cough cough* when the Cowboys needed it.

Records are a team thing not a QB thing.

and yet within 2 years that deal will be around avg. Players know this as well. He is asking the market value and seems the only holdup is 4 or 5 years if we go by what is getting reported.

The difference is that Romo was always out there fighting. He never just "laid an egg" when the team needed him. He made some stupid throws and some costly interceptions, but he was still fighting.
Dak just goes along with the team.
What I have a very difficult time with is both sides, pro Dak or anti Dak keep using Romo as the comparison.
What in the HE double hockey sticks do either share in comparison value? Other than zero rings.. lol
