when Mannings excellent offensive line broke down along with his defense starting in 2012 He could not even get to the playoffs.

I think Manning is a first ballot hall of famer but that was a championship team because of its lines and its coaching staff. Just like Aikman's teams.

Yup...I aint blaming the guy for being in the right place at the right time.

I mean I know you're trolling, but at least try to make a decent post. Get someone who finished elementary school to at least vet some of these ridiculous ideas that come out of your head. It's embarrassing.
A 2011 AFC road game played in week 1 is a big game? You typed that and thought it made sense?
Let's see, in 2009 the Cowboys trailed the Eagles by a game in the division with 3 to play. They beat the 13-0 Saints, the Skins I believe, then Eagles in the final week to win the division and home field, and then the Eagles again in the first round of the playoffs. So they needed to win out, and did, sounds like they won 4 big games in a row there. Your brain dead analysis of 2009: Durr... lost to Minnesota, FAIL
You're a joke.
Yeah my elementary analysis. I think your love for Romo clouds your football judgement. I am a huge Cowboy fan as well as a Romo fan but the truth is he just was not clutch and could not carry a team when it mattered. The big losses and career narrative are very clear.
I don't need to be blinded by some stats, because I saw every game he played including all the games where we needed him to carry the team.
You have no answer for my high level questions.
How many championship games did we make with Romo? Zero
Two wildcard wins. 2009 Eagles, 2014 Lions.
I rooted for Romo and thought he was talented enough to get the job done. The majority of the blame needs to fall on his shoulders for not winning because the majority of blame or praise alwasys falls on the QB. This is not something new, nor am I picking on Romo.
I personally think Romo is better than Eli, but unfortunately he has 8 playoff wins and two Super Bowls. Even though he has no playoff victories other than 2007 & 2011, I guarantee every Cowboy fan would take Eli's career or Romo's.

I have zero problem with Eli being the chosen here...in fact, I don't think it should even be close! I don't think any non Cowboys/Romo fans in the NFC East would argue. Eli started almost every game of the decade and is the only other QB to win a SB besides Foles. If he had just been a flash in the pan like Foles then of course he wouldn't belong but the longevity is important here.

eli was known for doing uncanilly stupid stuff at all times.

Crazy what people choose to remember.
Yeah, and Eli wasn't half the QB Romo was in my opinion.. I'm not potentially getting on a Romo hate train boss, I'm just saying he wasn't my kind of QB.. I like guys that protect the football, just more conservative guys..

There were 8 othere QB's between Aikman & Romo. Which ones were the "conservative guys" that you would have chosen over Romo?!

Jason Garrett messed up Romo's career so... all his talent was wasted grooming Jason for 10 years.
