Eventually, CeeDee will add the pressure on Dak, assuming he lives up to his billing. Yet, he's still a rookie that must prove himself before that pressure is likely to be recognized as legitimate. I'm personally of the opinion that he'll do just that, although, it remains to be seen. The Cowboys are obviously quite reluctant to grant Dak the level of pay that he and his agent want. This is a story that awaits a result to see what pay level Dak is eventually worth granting. I think those claiming he's a top 5 QB are giving him a prematurely generous benefit of the doubt. (jmho.) Evidently, the Dallas Cowboys agree.

What gets me about Jerrah and the draft..

and Dak and Jerrah

and Dak and CeeDee..

Is that everybody loves what Jerrah did with our draft.

Everybody seems split about Dak and signing him..

and everybody seems excited about Dak and Lamb.

Hello?

Common denominator?

Jerrah.

People who want to attack Jones over his GM guidence or lack of same..

also will begrudgingly say he also gets it right.

Amazing.

I think more credit has to be given to Stephen and Clay and others involved. But they are fine with letting Jerrah get the lionshare.

I guess it's just understood Jerrah pays the bills, takes all the financial risks and gets praise when due.

Had Jimster swallowed his pride better when he left..

that team might have won several times more and Jimster might be competing with Belecheat for all time SB wins.

Hmm...

kellerman talks out of his bottom hole. in onee breathe he'll say zeke isn't a top 5 back. now for this argument he's an all world back. he's known to think wentz is better based on no statistical facts. he's worse than SAS and i can't stand him either. but at least SAS will make logical arguments and try to support them usually. max should stick with boxing.

I'll quite generously give Jerry credit for stepping back and allowing those like Stephen and McClay to take over. There's no denying Jerry has had many incidents of horrible decisions in the past. Apparently, he's come to grips with that and decided to let Stephen and McClay do their thing. I'm hoping this scenario continues to play out to this team's advantage in the future, regardless of the virus plague being a deterrent.

Despite some of the less than exquisite things that this team has suffered in the past, the future seems fairly encouraging. Of course, there's much more to be seen before claiming this team is back to it's glory days but 2020 seems a step forward. I'm primarily a Cowboys fan and always will be, despite the misgivings of this organization in the past. Here's hoping our recent success bodes well for a bright future in the weeks ahead! ;)

I offered my previous post in response to this one. I carelessly forgot to press the "post reply" button in doing so. Mea culpa (my fault.)

Yeah I agree with you Bullflop, but I'm interested in seeing how Dak does with our new coaching staff and our updated team. Never can tell, this team just might really come together, including the Dakster.

It's not often, but sometimes your OP Thread are freaking amazing....Good content.

Like I believe with most fans if we had a beer together (or your drink, smoke or vape of choice), Dak conversation would be tame..

Jerry is Superstar. Icon and Legend. If he never won another Superbowl he'd still go down as a top 10 Franchise Sports Owner in ANY sport.

I don't agree with few things he does or says but I will give Jerry his deserved Roses on this side!

No doubt.

But it's also the best thing that could have happened to Dak.

With questions at TE and comments about Amari not playing well away from ATT..

Mr. Lamb has been put in the catbird seat.

Jarwin should be able to do well. He should see a lot of favorable matchups. I like the player, but if he can't then they have to get him out of there. Either put in another WR or like others have mentioned, Pollard out of the backfield.

Cooper not playing well away from ATT? Who played well away in our 5 losses? Gallup?

I'm not big Dak fan, but how would CD put any more pressure on Dak that he hasn't already been through?

You should have kept watching, it only got worse. The guy on the left actually put his head down after he said something. But that was later on.

Except for the fact Johnson has already planned on leaving after his 5th year.

The year the Cowboys won back to back Super Bowls.

If Dak has all of his weapons available and a healthy OL to give him time, Dak has never failed under pressure. The two years with Dak that we did not make the playoffs was because he did not have all his weapons or the OL let him down. In summary, the pressure is not on Dak and it never has been. He will put the pressure on his weapons and OL. CeeDee will have the pressure put on him.

Max Kellerman is a world class ******. I can’t stand that asshat. He makes Steven A seem tolerable. He’s that bad.

Ok.

I like the rest of us thought his leaving was nutty.

I was living in South Florida when he came to the Dolphins.

He encountered the same resistance moving Shula out as he did replacing Landry.

Jimmy will always have my respect as a Cowboy fan..

but..

him leaving when he did in Dallas will always rub me wrong.

Can't help that. Just a poor decision for all concerned.

Not to forget it brought Switzer to Dallas.

Never forgive Jerrah for that.

Talk about insult to injury. Aikman hated him.. many did, too.
