Kyler is a super efficient QB. I can see him going the way of the Dak. Major plus early on. Running threat and efficient passer. Starts to run less and throw more as career goes on. Stats go way up but efficiency goes down. Signs mega deal. What happens next no one knows. Hopefully for Arizona they get something done before the time comes.

Not trying to derail the thread OP, but the other day I was thinking about CD, and what type of Nick Name fits now,, I know, seems odd right,,,
I was bored,,, so remember where this came from the source,, I coined it... lol
The Quad Runner, or just Quad Runner..
Man has huge quads and a proven YAC machine,, just saying..

Murray's ability to buy time and get out of the pocket was best matched by Lamb's penchant for getting upfield to give him the target. One of the reasons Lamb was such a YAC demon was his ability to get up the field when his QB was on the mover and give him the target.

Lamb at 17 for the Cowboys was a steal but at 8 for AZ would have been a mistake. They already have the best 1-2 WR punch in the league and D challenged HC. Murray is the main thing keeping Kingsbury's job. He was a joke at TT.

I do think he gets overlooked.

I actually love the depth we've added at corner. While we're not clear-cut on our starters, Awuzie, Lewis, Brown, Worley and Canady all have either nickel or starting experience and have shown some good things at times. Then, we have the two rookies, Diggs and Robinson. We might not carry a single corner this year who is just a special-teammer. Seven corners who can actually play corner gives us a lot of flexibility in the secondary.

Didn'r see Dak's efficiency go down last year. In the losses, he needed Zeke to be Zeke, and most games he didn't show up. Aikman needed Emmitt for him to win games.

In case anyone was wondering, while Murray "lobbied the team to draft former Oklahoma teammate CeeDee Lamb at No. 8 in the draft" the Cardinals proceeded to completely avoid the heavy loaded WR draft class.
