There's perseption, then there's reality.

Post some actual stats if you can find them.

In my humble opinion, Michael Irvin was the best receiver the Cowboys have ever had. And on 3rd down, he'd be doubled and still get open.

No Dak on list, no comebacks in 2019 even with two 1000 yard receivers, Zeke couldn't carry him yet again last year , truth hurts, trolls keep believing, hopefully it all ends well. Stay safe.
Team led the league in dropped passes, defense was top 3 in most missed tackles and special teams was the worst. That's not including in leading the league in missed FGs and amongst the worst in drive-killing penalties. Plus, Zeke had 5+ games of running for less than 70 yards.

Yeah, no wonder there were no comebacks in 2019, but let's just blame Dak. It's much easier.

3rd & 8, late, Boys down by 5, which QB and WR were best

The candidates are:

Roger to Drew Pearson
Roger to Tony Hill
Danny White to Drew Pearson
Danny White to Doug Cosbie
Troy to The Playmaker Michael
Troy to Novacek
Romo to T.O.
Romo to Jason Witten
Meredith or Morton to Bob Hayes

My top two choices:
Troy to The Playmaker Michael
Roger to Drew Pearson
Got a better one..

We have not had a felony arrest in years..

Whom had the best arrest?

Raphael Septien

Pete Gogolak

Lance Rentzel

Joey Heatherton

Michael Irvin

Mark Tunie

David Irving

Hollywood Henderson

Dwayne Thomas

Barry Switzer

Add another name if needed. Some of these guys were never arrested, but should have been.

Keeping you guys on your toes.

Proceed.

If late, in 2 minute drill or comeback mode, it's Roger to whomever (most likely Drew) is at his disposal at the time.Roger possessed that rare quality of being able to will a team to victory especially in the waning moments of ball games.
He earned the comeback nickname and all that but it just went further than that. Charlie Waters said it in an interview. It was that the Cowboys "NEVER" felt like they were out of a ball game when Roger played no matter what the scoreboard said.
If you were privileged enough to have watched him, you would know this to be true.

So short answer and most likely, Roger to Drew, but in all actuality, Roger to whomever.

Zeke didn't show up in majority of the losses. At least Aikman knew Emmitt would show up vs a DL that was geared to stopping the run. And Aikman had a defense that got stops on 3rd down (during their SB run).

We get it 3 time SB winning QB is just a JAG. Stop Zeke and Dak chokes kinda the formula teams now know , put the game on Dak and you get the brilliant 9 point performances against scrubs no less . Dak didn't get it done is the bottom line so lets pay him 38 Million because he is so much better than the JAG Aikman, thanks for the enlightening view, a good laugh is always welcome.

I'm surprised at the amount of Romo to Witten replies, but that's my answer too. Witten knew how to block out as good as any TE I've ever seen and Tony knew where to put the ball.

Also, it's hard to argue and combo on the list as all were great players.

Nice and unique thread OP. Big ups!

I don't trust Aikman's accuracy if protection breaks down. At least Romo and Dak can throw on the move. Romo had Witten in his prime, he'd prob be my pick.

Pocket wouldn’t have time to breakdown. Troy is throwing the ball to Irvin as soon as his back foot hits it’s spot and Irvin is going to be exactly where he is supposed to be and blocking the DB away from the football.

I would call a slant to Irvin and feel confident it’s getting caught and he will muscle his way to a first down.

Sure if Reggie White doesn't blitz 1st and hit Aikman.

Same could be said bout Aikman when teams stopped Emmitt.
