What kind of season do you see Jarwin having in 2020?

I was just watching ESPN, Orlovsky doing his top 5 offenses for next year and of course no Dallas, though they had the #1 O last year and added Cee Dee Lamb. Im thinking do people really think Witten matters that much?

So what do you see Jarwin doing?

Jarwin should be hugely productive per target. He's the 5th threat on the field, and the other threats are *huge*. Between defending against the run game and 3 very good WRs, maybe *all* of whom are legitimate #1s, teams will take their chances with Jarwin all day long.

Witten is addition by subtraction. He was just *bad* in the second half of last year. We would have been better off playing Jarwin over him.

Jason Witten had
63 Rec. 529 yds. 8.4 Avg. 4 Td's
Blake Jarwin had
31 Rec. 365 yds. 11.8 Avg. 3 Td's
I see no reason why Jarwin would be targeted less, so
63 Rec. 744 yds. 11.8 Avg. 6 Td's would be my low-end prediction.

I think his receiving ability and the lack of false starts will more than make up for his inline blocking. Truth be told defenses would rather face Jason Witten than Jarwin, with their hands full the last thing defenses wanted to see was another weapon:flagwave:

Jarwin will start out like gangbusters. Big plays in each of the first three games.
Then he will have a season ending injury while being rolled up in a pile.

Enter Blake Bell, the next big thing. Bell ends up becoming the new great fantasy TE.
Not quite at the level of George Kittle and just a tick or two below Travis Kelce.

A meaningless prediction, of course. Just for fun.

Cooper, Gallup, Lamb, Elliott and Pollard with a HC not known for featuring the TE in his offense. His blocking will be needed more than his receiving and if he gets featured, this offense is in deep trouble.

McC's history says he's never had 5 players like this at these skill positions and there's still only one ball. The best TE on this O is a blocking one.

Witten got more plays that he deserved because of Booger and Garrett. Booger's new play toy is Lamb and the order of the day will be to showcase the steal of the 1st round.

Take this to the bank.

With Lamb as a slot/WR it sucks the air out of the TE position.

We are moved on from the TE catching days.

Cee Dee is a number #1 pick. Jarwin was a marginal player. He could not beat out Swaim when they both were healthy. Gaithers was even getting reps over Jarwin at one point.

Guess who gets the ball?

Like is this even debatable?

Schultz re-enters as comp for starting TE. He also caught a few passes and moved the chains. He is a better sized TE for blocking as well for Zeke.

I am tired of these players from out of nowhere like Jarwin whom people want to be the next golden nugget.

Try committing to who our scouts saw and we drafted them and should play the..

We have done this about 3 times where we drafted a TE just to cut them later never doing anything.

Play the guys we invested in?

If there is a problem..fire the scouts looking at TE.

This is not rocket science.

This team out 'cutes' itself at times.

Too many times.

There was a time we could not draft an OL for years on end.

Time to end the TE drought.

Kellen Moore likes Jarwin. I'm certain that Moore wanted to start Jarwin over Witten last season but we all knew that Garrett would play Witten for too many snaps.

Having said that, Jarwin will be the 4th or 5th option in the passing game.

far too many other weapons' 3 WRs who will command the ball, pollard, zeke and then Jarwin ,for big production here but id say about 40 for 550 4tds, maybe becomes more of a weapon IF some others are tearing it up and tjhey forget about him..

Orlossky is a Philly fan and Dallas hater, we will have a top 5 offense, if not Daks really digressed even more..that would solve one issue..:)

He should be solid he'll be forgotten early on in a lot of teams game plans which will help him get open because all eyes will be on the big three!

Jarwin creates an enormous threat as a seam-stretcher and YAC playmaker. Poor as a blocker but I'll bet that his yards per catch will be enormous.

He's had a WR-ly 11.4 YPC and 11.6 YPC the last two seasons. Witten had 8.4 and 8.9 YPC over the same span.

He will catch 8 for 190 yards in 2 games.
After 2 games, the NFL will fold u til late 2021.

I see him having a Novacek like year...not a ton of target or catches but a lot of really big or important ones as, like our 90s teams, we have so many offensive weapons that Jarwin will get overlooked like Jay did. Trotting out Elliott, Pollard, Lamb, Gallup, and Cooper on third down....you already just forgot about Jarwin too when you read that....Just like every defense will.

Since 2000, Jarwin is only 1 of 7 TEs to have a game of 100/3.
Randall Cobb and Jason Witten have left the team along with their 166 targets.
The team just gave him a new 3-year contract.
Jarwin has a real opportunity this year.

That would be the high end of what he could do in this offense.
If there were a 2nd TE that would get a fair number of receiving yards up I might agree, but he will really be the only receiving threat at TE, so I think this is reasonable.
