1 2 3 4 Final
gnb-2016.png

Green Bay Packers 7 14 7 6 34
dal-2016.png

Dallas Cowboys 3 10 0 18 31

Typical Dak game as by the end of the 3rd Q the score was Packers 28 and Cowboys 13.
Dak came back against the Packs PREVENT defense in the 4th (Garbage anyone) but it wasn't enough as Mr. Rodgers had the last say in the matter.
May I ask where Dak was in the first 3 Quarters of the game?
May I also ask when was the last time we won a shoot out game????????
Think NEVER!
Green Bay's 31st ranked pass defense somehow managed a rare Playoff Red Zone int and a win on the road in Dallas

The 1981 Niners Cowboys - The Catch " will always rank as the No.1 heart-breaking playoff loss of all time
on my time.(and i was just a young kid too)
One game away from the Super Bowl in an NFC title. i was so sure we would have won vs Cincy in that SB.

That's why the 90's dynasty cowboys that won 3 SBs was a very special, rare era.
and made the difference in knocking the Niners outta the NFC title game en route to SB wins.

Whomever won between us and the niners, just like in the 90's against Buffalo was going to beat the Bungles in the SB.

LOL! :lmao:....... ..oh well, Keep tryin' to convince of that in the mirror.

2014 -we can't put pressure on a injured one leg Aaron Rodgers, so he sizzles us again in the playoffs,
the very next week vs ATL , Falcons beat the hell outta Rodgers in a blow out win - ironic how 3 out
of the last 4 times we simply cannot ever seem to put pressure on Rodgers.

2016- once again, we cannot disrupt and put pressure on Rodgers, results 28 points in the 1st half,
and when it counted on needing to finally stop Rodgers when it counted on the final drive
- we allow Rodgers & co to march 90+ something yards including a 30+ catch by TE Cook to
get into FG winning drive to end our season.

2018 - Getting totally pounded and ate up by the Rams for a NFL playoff record rushing total 273 yards..is not Fake News
we just got our azzes handed to us because we were defenseless in our front seven. Gurley was
a non-factor vs Saints/Pats in playoff but ran wild vs us...fat-boy CJ Anderson came off the street
to help shred us vs run.

' Til da Next Episode :p
Did you know Marinelli is 2-14 vs rodgers all time. He probably laughed watching film before those games.

The Bengals were damn good that year

They were and just like the niners game it would have been a good game. Was in Miami that weekend when an agent who wanted to represent my brother (graduated from college that year) flew us down that same weekend.

Don't forget the Crayton drop on 3rd and 13 over the middle with room to run. Right in his hands and the rest would be history. There would be no Crayton stopped route. Then you have Jackie Smith, Dez, .....

so many moments that could have changed the course of Cowboy history....

So glad the play the run on the way to the passer is gone.....

Will be watching to see how Nolan changes things up for the better. May be shaky to start with, but in the end better than the predictable Marinelli / Richards , let them
march the field and then start pressing in the red zone D...

Yup. Interesting. The Packers had 19 total interceptions that year, including 2 in the post season. Dak played the Packers twice and had an interception in each game. Dak accounted for 2 of their 19 interceptions...10.5% of their total.

Our hero, Tone Rome, who slices and dices horrible passes defenses up, faced the 32nd ranked defense the year before and threw 2 interceptions. The Giants had only 15 on the season so Romo accounted for 13.3% of their interception take aways.

You Romo loving Dak haters keep highlighting just how bad Romo was. Nice job!

I think Jerry’s weird obsession with “credit” after he felt Jimmy got too much in the glory days screwed this franchise for a long time. For some strange reason, Jerry has never seemed to understand that if he hires a great coach (which he did with Jimmy) and lets that coach fully run the locker room and discipline (which Jimmy did), if the team wins a championship, Jerry is going to get a ton of credit for hiring the right guy and letting him do his job.

In a million years, I’ll never understand why a brilliant businessman like Jerry cannot seem to let that credit thing go. It’s like a weird insecurity that only a billionaire with a giant ego could have.

You write it better than I could have. As long as I live, I'll never understand how an NFL owner could fire a head coach who just won two Super Bowls in a row. That was an act if stupidity that may never be repeated in the NFL. You're right that Jerry was getting plenty of credit for having hired Johnson. But Jerry "proved" that any coach could do it by getting a Super Bowl with Barry Switzer. *rolls eyes*

You mean the first game on the season, when Leary got hurt, Zach Martin had the neck stinger and Dallas just got out of training camp, and didn’t have 16 games in the same lineup including playing, 15 with the top flight running game led by Zeke, in the final game of the season like Dak, so as to stay fresh?

Romo also threw 3 against the awful 49ers the year prior in the first game of the season and then went on to throw only 6 more while tossing 34 TDs...

Your analogy seems pretty flawed...

Nothing flawed about it.

My favorite part about Dak lovers is they actually use the excuse that Garrett was in charge of the offense. He wasn’t. Dak reporter to Linehan and Moore and Moore was a disciple of Linehan and came with him from Detroit. Moore is still here and the playbook isn’t changing.

Garrett was banned from the offense completely by Jerry in 2014. Romo was given authority with Linehan.

Jerry went with Linehan because he was changing the offense while maintaining the same overall scheme as Garrett’s Coryell. Jerry specifically states Garrett and Linehan were totally different even if they employed the same terminology.

“Linehan gives us a complete real change of our offense with our terminology,” Jones said. “Although [Garrett and Linehan] have been together coaching, you can’t see a lot of what we’ve been [doing] in what they did up in Detroit. He’s got a track record of really zeroing in and building the offense around the talent, the specific talent and the qualities of the players.”[/qupte]

Jerry started to give more power to Romo in 2013, even though Jason kept interfering. 2014, Jerry had enough and relegated Jason Garrett to a walk around HC. And Romo was even starting to get play calling duties.

So NO, Dak was not working in the same conditions as Romo. Dak wouldn’t have lasted a year in them. Garrett wasted Romo’s career, while Dak era has been spent coddling Dak, including the Dak-friendly offense where he supposedly didn’t need a number 1 and then they had to go get Cooper after Dak was fumbling around setting Quincy Carter records in futility.
