I remeber Earl Thomas was willing to take a hometown discount, till they showed him the money...
Que the music..

let's trot out the top 5 reasons to play in Dallas..

5) Tony Romo likes the Cowboys and will compliment you on TV

4) Deion Sanders will always be the best DB that ever played. You do not compare.

3) Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin think Dak is underpaid and is owed backpay. If you come to Dallas you will have to get Stephen Jones to agree with them.

2) Nothing

and the #1 reason to sign in Dallas?

1) Why the lack of a State Income tax. You will start off with a free upgrade in income just for attending the Texas State Fair.

BTW..have we ever sold anybody on that tired line?

Thought not.

Not worried about the dollars.

Don't give up that 1st round pick.
You sure about that? The way our 1st two rounds have gone with exception of this draft, I’d give a 1st for obvious 1st rd talent. We got a 5th rd OT with a 2nd a couple years ago.

Adams is on pace to have more sacks and quarterback hits than any safety in NFL history.

He plays like a linebacker and a safety at a high level.

He's young, and he's better than any player in the draft. Best defensive player in the NFL, and at a position of weakness.

You're not getting a player of his caliber in the draft.

Don't think there is any other way Big Dog. A 1st will be the floor most likely. Minkah Fitzpatrick cost the Steelers a 1st and a swap of mid or late round picks. So I think Adams fetches that plus some.

Didn't rumor have it Dallas offered that for him last season?

And he can cover receivers, in the slot or on the boundary.

See, that's the thing. If he's willing to give on money for the Cowboys, then the Jets want more in trade as compensation.
And they're already holding onto some crap grudge over it.
