"He's a liability in coverage"

He gave up 4.5 yards per target last year

Lololol

Football iq on this board is as low as I've ever seen it
But the IQ doesn't stop as to his performance, although I'll totally give you that.
It's all about total compensation.

I don't have a problem with people having reasonable concerns about the total package..that's a fair opinion..but those people are few and far between

"don't give up a first"

Not reasonable. Not intelligent.

LOL...…………..the guy starts begging for a trade 2 years into his rookie deal and he wants to talk about trust?

The irony.

He should just shut up and accept being on a perennial losing team that has had a single winning record once in the last 10 years. A team whose "plan" for getting better is to accumulate high draft picks. A team that had traded the 1st rounders drafted the years before Adams and squandered various other high picks. A team that clearly is uninterested in getting better.

What sort of loser wants to win!?! Who wants a player that wants to win?

The word "bend" is definitely subject to detailed definition. By itself, such a term could easily mean lots of things. The Jets would still have the right to demand whatever they'd deemed appropriate to set the cost.

It's really no secret that the Jets and Dallas aren't on amiable terms, as it now stands. Don't be surprised if their terms to make a deal would be more attractive for other teams, than it would be for the Cowboys to accept. They could set the cost however they please for each team.

Two years of Earl Thomas blather have been replaced with Jamal Adams.

If the Jets asking price is as reported paying that AND Adams would be foolhardy. The Cowboys aren't Jamal Adams away from a championship.

Cant blame him for trying, but don't talk about trust when you are the guy clamoring to get traded.

You always are looking for an excuse with some players.

Your biases are obvious to everyone.

Look around. The expiration date on your views passed months ago yet you keep pouring clotted curds and calling it fresh.

Just me, but unless Dak signs a long-term deal by July 15, I don't see any way of this happening unless it's a trade under his current rookie deal. That's the downside to Dak playing on the tag........$31M cap hit is tough. Besides, I read a tweet he's looking for something closer to $20M a year as one the best defensive, not safety, players. IF this is true.........move on, fast, coz it's not happening in Dallas.

Don't think there is any other way Big Dog. A 1st will be the floor most likely. Minkah Fitzpatrick cost the Steelers a 1st and a swap of mid or late round picks. So I think Adams fetches that plus some.

Didn't rumor have it Dallas offered that for him last season?

The floor is where I would send this offer. Jets keep the player, the drama, the attitude. Dallas keeps their pick/s and moves on down the road.
