Tony Pauline said on today’s episode of his podcast (Draft Insiders) that the Jets want La’el Collins and a pick in exchange for Adams. He says that the Jets don’t think they can get the Cowboys to agree to this price - however, the Jets may consider doing the deal for La’el only.

I’m out at this price. No way am I giving up a very good RT for a safety.

Im in. DONE!!!!

Much much easier to find a good RT than it is to find an all pro safety. We might even be able to replace him with some of the young pups on the roster.

It would be nice, not to have to score 27 points a game to win.

Yep. I don't see how any trade can be made especially if players are involved. The Jets will always want more than the Cowboys are willing to give up.

I'm not dealing Collins. He's 26 and on a reasonable contract and we're going to have to give Adams a huge deal.

And realistically, we're competing for more than the Jets and we don't have a replacement on the roster.

Trading La’el makes less sense than trading Gallup.

We don’t have anybody waiting in the wings to be our next starting tackle.

You Badaz to fill in at center with Looney then you have Williams and McGovern to fill it at LG and RT. Works for me if it gives us Adams.

Collins for Adams + a pick maybe.

Collins is maybe the best non-rookie contract in the entire NFL right now.
You are right on.
He's close to a top-5 RT IMO.
The fact that he's not even 27 yet means he's just now in his prime and will probably get better.

Lol no way I'm giving up lael. Offer a first and 3rd and call it day. Someone else will probably pony up more anyway

to give Collins and pick. that's too much...

but is a RT more valued than a safety. the main question is how much will we decline if we lose Collins and how much will we improve if we get Adams. so who is Collins replacement? could Williams kick out to RT. although a drop off, is there a big drop off? and Adams will replace Haha or Woods?

does it make us better as a team....safety is a big hole, but I think on defense RDE is a bigger hole and CB is a big question mark right now.

Agreed. Unlike most positions, it never makes sense for a team to trade away a very good tackle. They don't grow on trees. Unless of course you're in rebuild mode and tanking for picks.

Naaah i'm not buying it. i think it's another case of a media reporter making up a trade, instead of reporting
a source. And just giving up Lael Collins only ? I'm certainly not buying that with all the fuss they have made
about valuing him as such ?
Latest rumors has Niners making a push for Adams
