Tony Pauline said on today’s episode of his podcast (Draft Insiders) that the Jets want La’el Collins and a pick in exchange for Adams. He says that the Jets don’t think they can get the Cowboys to agree to this price - however, the Jets may consider doing the deal for La’el only.

I’m out at this price. No way am I giving up a very good RT for a safety.
Where do we sign? We can’t make this deal fast enough.

I'd offer them Williams plus a pick, but not Collins.

Lets trade the entire O line and see how good zeke really is. Give him a little taste of Barkley and Bell life.

He’s the best, our O line doesn’t matter, just rely on our running game. We’ll be fine.

La'el for adams, yes way. Dak for darnold, no way.
I even disagree with La'el for Adams. Both have nearly the same impact on their respective sides and Collins is locked up on a very friendly deal while Adams is yet another player looking to be PAID.

Also the OL is in real flux right now and losing him is basically throwing that entire unit into a mess.

I just don't like it.

Extra edit: Let us not forget that trading Collins accelerates 10 milly onto the cap.

That kind of means something.

On offense we have dak, zeke, cooper, gallup, cee dee, jarwin, smith, williams, zack, and can't forget pollard. Love Collins, but he's replaceable. On defense we have tank, two free agent tackles, a dubious lve, jaylon who regressed last year and an unproven backfield. Ergo, imo, adams helps the team more.
